Customers are saying
Customers appreciate the exceptional sound quality, particularly the impressive bass response, of the Reference Series Dual 8" speakers. Many also praise the speakers' power handling capabilities and value for the price. However, some customers note that the speakers are large and heavy, and a few have expressed concerns about the durability of the feet. Overall, the positive feedback on sound quality outweighs the negative comments regarding size and weight.

These speakers Rule
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are outrageous. Great separation and reproduction of highs lows and mods. and sound at any volume. For music or video these are outstanding. Your ears will tap out long before these speakers do. Rock, Jazz classical all sound oerfiecr. For movies dialogue stands out without the soundtrack getting lost

Sound great and well worth it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased these at half price to use with a new TV, multi channel receiver and dish receiver. They have very sharp sound hearing things we never noticed before when watching TV or movies. A little pricey but seem well worth it especially if you can catch them on sale for half price.

Expecting more
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these because they had a great review and they had a great price as well. I know Klipsch makes good speakers but have never owned any before these. They are big speakers and they are very "boxy"; they are just plain unappealing to me. I thought that because of the horn tweeter their sensitivity would be higher. It took more power to drive these to the same listening level as my previous speakers. Maybe I should have let them break in longer but they just seemed flat to me. My Infinity speakers sound better, and they are not great speakers.

Klipsch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently moved. Old system was working but it was old. I went a little overboard with these Klipsch Speakers and 7.1 system but you know what....if I could make it a 10.1 system....I would. If you choose Klipsch you cant go wrong. Im just a sound nut. Oh, and they look stellar. "Go ahead, get the desert."

Klipsch is amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These speakers are phenomenal in every way. I've been in the car audio business for over 30 years and I have to say these are some of the best home speakers I've ever heard. It's really hard to get the same level of sound you can create in a small space like a car at home but these speakers surpass that.

Try to get them on sale.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great speakers for the price. I would say wait until July/December times for them to go on sale for $220-$250 a piece. At that price they’re a steal in my opinion. I would say if you have enough money to buy these at full price though, I would highly recommend saving up a little bit more and get the Klipsch RP-280f’s instead. The RP series is the best value between the two if you’re okay with spending a little more.

Great floor speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought two more to add to my surround experience. I have these as my surround left and rights in lieu of the bookshelf style I had. What a difference it makes. Crisp clean sound and worth the purchase, especially if on sale so you can get more!

Great Bang For The Buck!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are a very good value for the price. I replaced a set of Polk towers with these and they sound better and have a much larger sound . They are being used in my media room as part of a 7.2 surround system. I also added 2 of the matching 12” powered subs and the quad 5.25” center channel.

Fantastic Sound for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.these speakers are a major upgrade from an old pair of sonys that came as part of a prepackaged system. they are somewhat large but their sound really shines in a bigger space. piece of cake to set up (once you get them out of their boxes).

Klipsche greatness
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a Klipsch buyer for a while now starting with the Quintet series. Then came the Synergy series with SF-3 towers, SC-3 center channel and, SS-3 surround speakers. Now it is time for an upgrade to the Reference series. I listened to the Reference Premier series as well but didn't hear much difference between the two series so I opted for the Reference series R-820F towers and the R-34C center channel speakers. The new front soundstage is amazing. Clarity and details are crisp and clear. Aggressive looks with the grills off. I will be buying the rest of the series soon to complete my 7.2.2 Dolby Atmos system. Great start so far

Great speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love these towers. They have a ton of bass and have great stereo spacing. You could probably get away with no sub at all if you're on a budget and as stated, great stereo spacing. Lots of cross screen movement on movies to really create that sense of space without surround sound.

||Posted . excellent speaker for home theater
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is complete, a very balanced speaker. The sound fills the room as you turn up the volume without ever getting harsh. Realize they are big and make quite the presence in the room. Movies, whether old or modern are a joy to listen to.

Looks great, sounds awesome!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned this unit for about 2 weeks and thus far they are breaking in well. They are part of a 5.1 set-up with R-34-C center, R-51-M centers, and an R-120SW sub. We started off watching Tenant and they sounded great. Music is also very nice and clear. The units seem built well - and while the feet are moderate in size, thanks to the low center of gravity it is a relatively stable unit. They are still breaking in but overall I'm enjoying the sound and they work great in our set up.
