Got these when they want on sale for $250 each. Worth. Great for home theater sound and excellent for stereo sound. You wont be disappointed.

Klipsch is the best quality speaker available. I use these for studio monitors which sound better than the Yamaha self powered 8's.

I bought these R-820F Floorstanding speakers to replace some older Klipsch 6"in. speakers I've had for many years. I was hesitant because my older one's were USA made and I was worried about the build quality and sound reproduction of these newer ones. So far, I am very pleased with the awesome sound these put out and they definitely sound better even at lower sound levels because of the larger 8"in. speakers. When I get rich , I'll spring for the RP's.

These Klipsch Reference speakers are exceptional in just about all aspects. Good bass and treble, smooth, and able to play at high volume without getting harsh sounding are attributes I have noted in listening to them play a variety of old rock and country music. I am powering them with an older Emotiva amplifier and preamplifier set up that is rated at 150 watts per channel at 8 ohms (240 watts at 4 ohms) and playing cd’s on an older Sony cd changer. It sounds great to me. I am very pleased with the system. The best part is I purchased the Klipsch speakers at one half their normal list price at Best Buy.

I've had my set for almost 9 months. Couldn't be happier. The bass is so good I rarely use my subs anymore. One of the best audio purchases I have ever made.
