Klipsch speakers amazing !

I have a powerful home system and a pair of these dual 8" floor speakers coupled with my Yamaha bookcase speakers provide an incredible sound hearing every chime and every note clearly. I do also have an 8" Yamaha sub woofer coupled with a 12" Klipsch sub woofer so this brings it all together. These speakers would be great even standalone as your main speakers. Watch for the sales.

Nice but slightly nasal sound

This was my second pair I've tried and I can't quite seem to get used to the horn sound. They are not overly bright but they did come across as nasal to me. Please note that I was comparing them to a set of B&W CM4s . Night and day in terms of sound signature. The Klipschs play with tremendous ease while B&Ws needed power in order to sing. The Klipschs are bigger than they appear so it will dwarf a small room. Things I love: Solid put-a-smile-on-your-face bass Easy to drive Amazing value for money Not so great stuff: Not great with acoustic music or the human voice. So and so sound stage Imaging okay I would recommend for home theater or if you listen primarily to electronic music.

Amazing pair of speakers.

And they do deliver the promise. Crisp smooth sound and they also look nice in the living room, like a piece of jewlery really. Something to brag to your friends about but also enjoy listening to. Pair this with a subwoofer and you're good to go. I don't really see much difference between 5.1 and this. Most of the sound will come from these ones anyway.
