Upgraded from the 6" towers and I got to say it was well worth it. The power that comes from these speakers are enjoyable. Have them connected to a marantz 7012.

Got them on sale for half price so if u can do that there definitely worth it. Sound great just better when half price and they are better then expected

This was the first set of klipsch speakers I've ever purchased, and sadly my be the last. I loved the way they sounded then after about 2 1/2 weeks I started to notice both towers starting to develop what I can only describe as a crackle sound from the horns. Maybe I just got a bad set.

These speakers have a wonderful frequency response range and can handle deep lows and super clear highs. Paired with other Klipsch Reference Series speakers it creates the ultimate sonic landscape. Build quality is outstanding, these speakers have heft. They feel solid and sound solid. Tones are clear and bright and bass is deep and tight. Remove the grill for an aggressive look thanks to Klipsch's copper colored speaker cones. Music sounds great as well when just using these as standard two channel stereo speakers. and with such high power it means you can add volume for days. These will be my main front of house speakers for years to come.

Since Novembe, I've been slowly building a new surround setup for my living room. I choose Klipsch because of the sound signature. I now have the full 5.1 reference line and these speakers fill out the sound so well. They don't distort at higher volumes and sound amazing. I had smaller Yamaha which were okay these are awesome.

Use these as part of a 3.1 setup. Sound amazing for movies, tv, video games, and music! Got them when they were $224.99, great deal.

Really good detailed sound! Learning my settings on receiver so will hopefully change to 5 star. Beautiful looking.

These sound very good. Bought to use as fronts in a 5.1 system. They are big so keep that in mind when considering them.

A simple purchase, I knew what I wanted going in so it was an easy buy.

Fantastic audio quality, construction feels solid, great look, and amazing in the rest of the set. High price tag, but I bought them on sale. Heavy! I had the 6.5" but returned them for the 8" because the smaller ones could not really stand on their own for loud music (wuffling). The 8" can stand alone for surround-like music, and are not overbearing for 5.1 cinema with the rest of the line. 6.5" is fine for a normal home theater setup.

These speakers sound great. I'm pushing 145 watts RMS and they definitely don't disappoint. For having a pair of 8" woofers in them, i'd like to see the low end a little more prevalent, especially if you don't have subs to accompany. I however, do have a pair of 12" subs in my set up so the low end is covered and doesn't really effect me. You really can't go wrong if you pick these up when they go on sale. Much better than bookshelfs.
