Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the exceptional sound quality, particularly the impressive bass response, of the Reference Series Dual 8" speakers. Many also praise the speakers' power handling capabilities and value for the price. However, some customers note that the speakers are large and heavy, and a few have expressed concerns about the durability of the feet. Overall, the positive feedback on sound quality outweighs the negative comments regarding size and weight.

I been a Klipsch fan for a while now and upgraded from the Pro Media 2.1 speakers to these. And definitely the best speakers I've owned and worth the money. The sound quality is amazing.

What can I say, I am feeling emotional about this... I had a pair of Bose 401 for the last forever. I purchased a Sony 1080 last month. 2 weeks ago, I finally decided to upgrade my floor speakers and found a great deal on these 820s. I've been listening for about 2 weeks now and I am compelled to leave a review. I am blown away, I can actually hear outstanding imaging, crisp (not harsh) highs and the speakers also have a nice warmth. I am hearing details in songs that I haven't heard before. My system is supported by an older Klipsch Synergy 10" sub. Last week I purchased an received a Klipsch R-52c. Running a 3.1 set-up watching TV was a joy this evening. The center channel carried the voices perfectly while the 820s did their magic on the soundtrack. I've got some ceiling and wall 3650's on order to complete the system. I'm very happy with 820's as my anchors.

7.2 system sounded good with noticeable highs which can be good or bad depending on preference. After a few months the subs will turn off with volume increase. Apparently Klipsch is aware of this problem but their communication with receipts is a hassle. Still waiting for replacement sub amps after emailing receipts five times. You would expect better for the price. Wouldn't buy again from Klipsch.
