Added these two speakers to my Denon AVR-X4700H as rear height channels and watching movies or listening to music is a great experience. Matches my other Klipsch speakers with the walnut finish, very sleek design. Currently have a 5.2.4 setup. Had to adjust the volume higher on these speakers so it’s audible during action scenes. Highly recommend these if they are on sale.

High end is extremely aggressive on all Klipsch speakers, something I l wish I had known before buying into a 5.1.2 system. (RP-8000F II, RP-404C II, RP-500SA II and these RP-502S II) I began having ear pain within the first week, no amount of eq seems to tone them down. Within a day of packing the speakers up to return them the ear pain subsided. If you have even slightly sensitive ears, stay away from Klipsch. The best they sounded was after I packed them up for return. Back to my old Bower’s and Wilkins.

I am sorry to hear that you had this experience with Klipsch speakers! Please keep in mind that it is common for passive home theater speakers to have a 60-100 hour break in period before they sound the best!

Huge upgrade over my previous onkyo upward firing atmos speakers, way easier to hear overhead sound even better with it mounted on the wall forward firing imo.

Absolutely awesome sound.
Kept waiting for them to go on sale over christmas but they never did so I went ahead and bought please and so glad I did.
My system is all clips reference speakers. So I thought I'd try the r p's for my surrounds and while they are awesome. Great Lowe's and highs. And they work as long as you don't mix them with the fronts,FL,FR and center.

Great speaker for a great price. Love this center channel, it replaced an older Klipsch, and was a dramatic upgrade. Great stage, and separation of dialog, but also really sounds great with music. I had no issues with excess brightness or fatigue with this speaker

Way way way more effective than the lower-end model. I was hesitant to upgrade but was blown away by the performance. Never really bought in to the upward-firing ATMOS gimmick but these make the experience surprisingly acceptable. High ceilings are not as effective. I had these in a home with 9' ceilings and the results were great. With 15' ceilings, it's enough to know the space is filled but not the best scenario. Angle makes a huge difference, also. Be sure to account for where the sound will bounce so it lands in your seating area and not behind you

Bought a pair for rear channel use in a 7.1 system. They work very well with my all Martin-Logan system. They are especially good with lossless formats such as DTS-HD Master Audio. Will be buying another pair to build a 5.1.4 Atmos system. At that time, these speakers will be repurposed as rear height speakers.

Awesome speakers the sounds are crisp clean and incredible. Have them set up as front height and the crossover for me is at 40hz really brings the speakers to life

I bought 2 of these and am using them as my LR speakers on top of the fireplace mantle for my stereo system. Coupled with a powered sub, I couldn't be happier with the result!
