EXCELLENT VALUE.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.GREAT CAPABILITY FOR LESS THAN $200. I BOUGHT THIS CAMERA TO REPLACE A CANON WITH 30X OPTICAL ZOOM THAT WAS LOST IN THE MAIL ENROUTE TO BE REPAIRED. IT WAS SUBSEQUENTLY FOUND AND RETURNED TO ME. THAT CAMERA IS MUCH SMALLER AND LIGHTER THAN THE KODAK. OCCASIONALLY THIS KODAK CAMERA "HANGS UP" AND WON'T DO ANYTHING. I UNPLUG THE BATTERY FOR A COUPLE OF SECONDS AND IT WORKS FINE WHEN RE-INSTALLED. EVEN SO, I'M A HAPPY CUSTOMER.

This camera is a very good camera for beginner.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had "many" Kodak products in the past. I was looking for a next generation bridge camera from Kodak and the 521 came along. Granted, it does make good pictures and videos. However, if you take it to the beach, the screen is useless. I placed the screen setting to the highest setting and still could not see what picture I was taking. Sure need a viewfinder for this scenario. All other scenarios are good. I actually swapped it out for another camera. The 1st Kodak I have done that to. Yes, I am retired and at my age, I really need a viewfinder (just my own preference). Thank you.

Disappointing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A nice camera but getting it to focus at full telephoto is not easy. Designers should have put an infinity setting on camera. Photo quality is good, ISO could be higher. The focus problems take away from this being a great camera. I had it up and running in minutes, a lot of fun features for taking photos.
