This was definitly a completely different story from the original King Kong but it was unexpectedly really good!

Very interesting mysterious island. I can see a few more sequels what with the extraordinary species on the island

Great special effects, enjoyed watching this take on King Kong, but a bit corny in spots. I liked that it was a different take on an old favorite.

This movie was much better than expected. Good soundtrack. separate but intertwining story line. Will watch again!

I did enjoy this movie even though it was a remake of all the other Kong movies. This movie had some good special affects and lots of excitement.

As much as I like the special effects and updated storyline, I found that watching this a 2nd time really showed the movie's deficits. But that could have just been an off day for me. The movie has spectacular effects, and even better-than-you-would-expect acting (but then, we're talking about Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, and the wonderful John C. Reilly). The star, of course, is Kong - and the CGI people have really done him justice.

King Kong is my hero. He is strong and has a soft spot.

I have never been a King Kong fan but this movie was the best King Kong movie. It was really good Great story line. Best Kong movie in my opinion.

Nice steelbook you get the 4k 3d blu ray and digital and this is the only way to get all versions in one packaging

Great movie! my kids love it! however not worth buying in 4k as only parts of the movie were shot in true 4k. so kind of a fast of the extra money
