Kong movie is a must watch for Legendary fans. More to come with the new Godzilla in 2019 and Godzilla and Kong in 2020. They are all related to the whole Monarch thing.... so a must for the collection. Watch for the clues and hints that are in the new Godzilla trailer.

Once again we have another Kong movie but this one was way different from the rest. I love the visuals and special effects. Samuel L Jackson did an amazing job portraying his character that you actually hated him. This movie made me laugh and cry at times. I can't wait for the sequel.

No one will ever make a better King Kong movie than the 1933 original. This one is very good and entertaining. The story is good, acting is fair, and the graphics are very good. If you are a Kong lover (like me!) you won't be disappointed. Not as good as the original or Peter Jackson's remake, but it's certainly worth the purchase/time.

This movie was really good, i love it so much i had to buy the disc version and im buying the disc version of King vs Godzilla, this is a great movie to add to your collection, i hope this helps. Enjoy.

With this version of Kong, some things changed, some remained the same. Plenty of monster mash action, and new ideas like WW II pilots crashing on the island. As usual, Samuel Jackson plays his part well as a Vietnam war soldier who is not really happy there are no more wars to fight.

Since i already have all the godzilla movies, why not go ahead and add this to my collection since kong stars in one of the godzilla movies anyways? Great addition.

I honestly expected nothing of this film when it was advertised for cinema. I did a 'blind' purchase hoping it was good (I've been burned before) and could not contain myself over how much I enjoyed this movie! This is truly a must buy, must own, must watch, and then watch again film.

Yes this steelbook isn't the cheapest you'll find...but it DOES include the 4K UHD, bluray, digital and 3D bluray. The artwork is rad and it has a matte finish. The movie itself is a fun monster ride, and if you have Dolby Atmos on your home theater audio setup, this movie ROCKS!

Overall I'm extremely happy with this release. Picture quality is far above average for a 4K release but IMHO it's not quite reference quality. I have yet to view the 3D release but plan to soon. Highly recommended as a 4K release, and... It's just a fun movie with a fresh storyline.

This movie was good and finally a Kong movie different then another remake of the Original. Yes there are parts that are silly but it still is good. As far as the 4K goes.. I thought as with most it was good but not great. In my collections most need more saturation and darkness but I can adjust it. 4 Stars for originality.

This story takes King Kong to a new direction. Instead of Kong being taken to a human civilization, humans are taken straight to Kong's home. While there are a handful of bumps in the story, there's plenty of giant monster presence and action to satisfy everyone.

This movie was a blast.The soundtrack took me back years, Vietnam era was a time with no rules, just like Skull Island. The acting was spot on with Samuel Jackson at his usual best. CGI graphics and the surround sound were fantastic! Loved it from beginning to a tear jerk ending. .

King Kong is the King and it shows here. The movie is action packed with a good flow and the Kong scenes are awesome. Great in 4K and 3d is very good on the LG OLED. I recommend this for the Kong fans and beginners to the franchise also. You can always go back and watch the others.

The idea of the linked monster universe and how well it will work remains to be seen but the initial offering of King Kong stood out from the crowd. Meeting Kong on his own turf and watching him defend it from all comers including man is strong foundation to build this project on.

This remake/prequil to a very old movie took it to another level, yet maintained the integrity of the concept of the original... and if you watched past the credits...(who does that?) you will see the true ending of the movie along with a teaser of what may lie ahead!!!! Hummmmm...

A true deluxe edition that includes a 4K UHD disc, a 3D disc that delivers impressive dimensionality, a standard bluray disc, AND the obligatory steelbook packaging - what's not to love? oh and the fact that it's King Kong and some fun monster-on-monster action to boot! Bring IT !!

The odd title of the movie aside, this movie did very well for itself. The cast is great, the adventure and drama leaves a good bit of entertainment to be bad, and Kong shows up in fine fashion. If you found Peter Jackson's King Kong a bit underwhelming, this will get you back on track to appreciating a movie monster icon.

OK, it may be a little too violent for the younger set, but this is a funny, action-packed movie that pays great homage to King Kong. He rules the Island. He is basically a good ruler . . . just don't mess with him or his turf! There's a reason this Island is hidden from man!

I was standing in front of the tv like it was the superbowl - THIS MOVIE PLAYS HUGE!!! I have only run my BD copy via ps Pro... Can’t wait to play the 4K soon! Thanks for offering a full pack as well... The Shennanigans req’d to get 3D copies these days is just sad. Winner here!

King Kong has evolved since his first black and white movie in 1933 by the RKO Pictures. Back then, it was a box office hit right away, and is still a box office hit in 2017. He just keeps getting bigger and bader through better and better computer software animation. Great job.
