This was probably the best of the King Kong movies that have been made to date in my opinion with the exception of the original black and white. The special effects and sound were awesome and so was the unique story line but still stayed true to the originals ape meets girl.

Solid movie but at this point I’m just mostly excited for Godzilla vs Kong

A total blind buy. Really cool movie just wish best buy would change the way they handle pre-order. Wasnt able to preorder the steelbook so had to pick it up at store when they opened before all the ppl who buy all the copies and try to sell them for 5 times as much on "fleabay"

This was a very good action packed movie. A team of scientists, soldiers and adventurers explorers and uncharted island in the Pacific, but their mission of discovery becomes the ultimate battle between man and nature when they venture into the territory of the mighty Kong.

This is one of the best if not the best action movie this year. Picture and sound was reference grade. The color was spot on. For the person who has 7- 1 sound or Atmos it put you in the scene of the picture. For the person who collects, this is a must have. Highly recommended.

The reintroduction of "King Kong" is far better than the reboot a couple of years ago. I can't wait to see what they do in the Universal Monster Universe, when we get to see Kong fight Godzilla. Only time will tell.

I'm very excited very happy very thrilled to own this movie in 3D because the movie and special effects combined with the Cast is just so very awesome great super fantastic very cool to watch/own in Your collection!

This Kong movie is nothing like the previous Kong movies. it has more of a Jurassic Park feel to it. It is very entertaining. Some of the scenes may be a little too graphic for the young, but overall, I would highly recommend this movie. Well worth watching more than once. John Goodman plays a good role as does John C. Reilly.

This movie was pretty good. I look forward to the upcoming monster universe. This Steelbook... WOW! The colors are amazing & images crisp!! If you're a collector like myself, DEFINITELY add this to your collection!!

I have been waiting for this movie to be released didn't get to see it at theatres but was told that it was good. It was not good it was a GREAT movie with great cinematography I watched it three times and enjoyed it every time the audio was fantastic a must see movie!!!!!!!!

I never had the chance to see Kong: Skull Island in theaters but watching it now at home on my 4K UHD TV on 4K it's amazing. The movie is awesome, full of action, suspense, comedy. The visual effects are crazy good and the soundtrack is awesome. I highly recommend this movie.

I was underwhelmed with the Godzilla movie, so I wasn't sure what to expect here since it was supposed to be in the same "monster verse". This was way better than Godzilla. I'm glad I saw it on the big screen, and I also was glad I got the blu ray It's a good purchase

The photography and CGI were excellent on this latest Kong film. It also sets up nicely a future movie of King Kong vs Godzilla since this movie takes place in the same universe as the last U.S. Godzilla film. Samuel L. Jackson was over the top with his insane, military character. All in all it was a fun, entertaining movie.

If you are a fan of Kong or just monster movies in general, you're going to love this one. Very different approach from 2005's King Kong, this one ties into the recent Godzilla movie. The helicopter battle and the effects were great. Samuel L. Jackson is so angry!

I really like KSI. Saw it the theater (not in 3d) and rented it a couple of times on VUDU before buying. If you have a 3D HDTV you must get this movie is you like action/adventure. It blows away others we have (about 15) in terms of 3D PQ. Just get it at Best Buy!

This movie is so far one of the best remakes of King Kong I have ever seen. Entertaining, funny, amazing graphics and the 4K Blu-ray is one of the best HDR movies out. Visually sharp, clean, crisp, clear and the Dolby Atmos is great too! Highly recommendable movie!

I think that this is a Great Film! I think that this film is trying to inform the viewer to respect the greatness and power of nature. Amazing and magnificent CGI creatures are in here. Kong: Skull Island is magnificent! I hope that you'll enjoy this film as much as I did.

Great action movie! The King returns in all his glory. The makers of this film obviously hold the giant ape in very high regard, as they stayed true to the original beast without rehashing the same old story we've all seen so many times, yet never as great as the first film.

This movie has many recognizable stars but it’s just not very good.

This is great popcorn flick. Kong has never looked better! Tons of action, comedy was on point, and this is the first in a series of movies that will include Godzilla and a bunch of other large Dinos and Monsters. Get the steelbook if you can because it's value is rising!
