A lot of action and mostly a man versus monster type flick, this film will entertain! Visual effects are good, you could tell it was meant to be on the large screen. The previous Peter Jackson incarnation was far superior and emotional, which had lots of memorable scenes and Jack Black anchoring the excitement.

I wasn't expecting much from this movie since it didn't get much play time in the theaters but I was pleasantly surprised as this movie exceeded my expectations. Plus, if you have a home theater that supports the new codecs such as Dolby Atmos, then you'll really be impressed! This movie sounds incredible in Dolby Atmos!

Kong Skull Island is partially about Kong, and a lot having to do with the mystique of the island itself and all its inhabitants. Audio/video is absolutely stellar. Picture is worth five stars and the audio is a wall rattler. Very highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this movie. The c.g. is stunning. They waste no time getting to the action. Kong appears in the first fifteen minutes. And don't miss the after credit scene! My only complaint is the language and graphic deaths are pushing the limits of the PG13 rating. Not a movie I would let my young children watch.

The visuals in this movie are awesome as well as the special effects. The island is fantastic. The monsters that live on the island are amazing. This is a fantastic remake of an old movie. Doesn't resemble the first movie at all and that's what makes it so interesting!

Bought this for my mother because she loves all the King Kong renditions. The movie froze in the menu but I think that was just because her BluRay player is really old. It worked when we rebooted it just fine. Great movie to watch. John C. Riley has a great role.

Movie was Great but 4k was most Impressive. I stopped buying BluRays since i'm totally into streaming but since I got my Oled and some Audio Quest cables i'm starting to buy 4k disc now. The picture and Atmos sound was super impressive. Love the Movie and Disc.

I grew up watching King Kong and Godzilla movies. This had a different story line but it was a good one. I recommend buying this movie and add it to your collection. I heard there are more to come. BEST BUY had this a a great price. They are hard to match in pricing.

This is KONG !! Such a great action packed movie from start to finish. Loved every second of this movie at the theatre and was a must must for the house. Best movie for sure at the time of its release. Can't wait for the next movies to release for the return of KONG !

Aside from the actual movie itself, the visual clarity of it was stunning! Kong seemed like an actual real creature that exists in the wild. I highly recommend this movie. Great deal too. 4k+Blu-Ray+Digital copy of the movie with all the extras at an affordable price.

After Peter Jackson effectively s%&t on the memory of Kong, this has to be the best representation of the Monkey King since the 80's adaptation. In addition to that, the tie-in(s) with Godzilla and Pacific Rim, hinting at a King of the Monsters crossover? Sign me up.

Happened to be shopping for a new 4k tv for a gift for a family member, and in the Magnolia room they had a scene playing on their tv wall. Couldnt help but watch the scene and asked to purchase the movie on UHD. Good movie, not for the kiddos, but action packed and well acted. Definitely pick up a copy!!!!

If You've invested in the 4K UHD HDR infrastructure then this disc is a must have! Beautiful transfer of a really fun reboot to the whole giant monster universe! There are plenty of reviews of the film itself but the tech specs of this disc set are superlative.

This fresh take on the Kong mythology features a spot on Vietnam war theme which gives everything a funky 70's vibe. The characters are pitch perfect with just the right amount of quirkiness. The action is fast & furious and the film is filled with a sense of wonder and adventure. A really fun 2 hour thrill ride.

When I first purchased Kong Skull Island I had bought it because one of my buddies had told me it was good and the steelbook looked awesome. The movie turned out to be terrific with some of the best 3D visuals I have seen. I highly recommend purchasing this bundle.

surprisingly good. i was leary of another remake of a classic, and a story that how many times can we keep retelling. apparently, one more time at least. it was remade with a twist. updated, yet new. very entertaining, good cast, good story. worth a watch or two.

I first saw it on BluRay and was amazed at how good the graphics were and how realistic they are for CGI. Not to mention good actors and plot. BUT when I saw it in 4K I’m my 65” OLED curved tv, I was BLOWN AWAY!!! You can see Kong in such detail that you can feel him. This should be on your must see list!

This movie was an excellent action movie with a great cast. A giant ape fighting giant lizard monsters what could be better! If you like the story of King Kong then this a great addition to the other films.I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of Kong: Skull Island.

Well maybe I'm a little bias because I like period movies. The music they choose for this movie is great and works with it. The movie has great actors and the roles they played fit them very well. Also, watch the movie till the end credits.....there's a surprise.

If you are expecting anything other than a typical summer monster movie then don't waste your time. If you want to sit back and enjoy a funny action movie then pick it up today. This time win any awards but you will be entertained; just like the Fast series.
