Very entertaining and great special effects. Acting is ok.

This movie had some good acting in it with a great cast that fit the characters. It was the most entertaining Kong movie ever. It has something for everyone and giant monster fans will have a blast. Samuel Jackson.....what more do I need to say? John Goodman....

Didn’t purchase for me, youngest son is a King Kong fan...

Great 4K picture and sound, but thin story line. Good effects.

Kong skull island exceeded my expectations it was an awesome amazing movie and it looks even more amazing in stunning 4k and I must add I simply love the limited edition Steelbook casing a must have for any movie collector and definitely a must see for everyone

At last a decent follow-up to the original King Kong (1933). Peter Jackson's version was scary, but too long. This is tightly paced, stays on task. Can't say I'm all-in on a 100 ft tall Kong, but they are trying to line him up with Godzilla, so we'll see.

Kong has some of the original ideas of the other Kong movies, along with new ideas. It is an action packed movie that is just for entertainment and fun. The type of movie you don't have to think about plots or anything else, just sit back, have fun and enjoy.

This film was awesome. It opens up with action and does not let up. Kong has been done a couple of times and I still love the 80's version with Jessica Lange. Still, this one is so intriguing due to it showing him prior to him being full grown. A must have!!

The second installment in the "MonsterVerse" series, this film has moments of humor scattered about, hidden among the scenes of action, violence, and terror of the creatures encountered throughout the film. An overall excellent film to add to any collection.

This movie was amazing. The steel book is a great new addition to my collection and the 4K and 3D is awesome. I HIGHLY recomend this movie to anyone who likes monster movies, or war movies. 5 STARS!

First off, the visual designers received recognition during the opening credits, and they deserved it. A lot of monsters, interesting characters/deaths. Kong was done justice.

My people came down from Chicago, and they had not seen the movie. So when I place the 4K movie into the player, they were amazed. I like the action and the plot. Kong will live another day to make another movie. It look so real. You got to get this movie.

Although King Kong, has been around for a long time. This new spin on the character, brings a fresh storyline and updates the story for a younger generation. The excellent cast and fantastic special effects and CGI, combine to form a fun and exciting story

The Ultra High Def is great, but the movie is only so-so.

There were a couple of scenes that seemed a bit too CGI. But overall the movie was very enjoyable. It's Kong the way I've always wanted to see him. The rating is spot on. I have a friend with a couple of kids under 10, and I think this movie would be a bit too extreme for them. But I recommend a watch!!

The film exclusive to Best Buy is better than anything I could've hoped for, offering the three best qualities of film: 4k, blu ray and even 3D Blu Ray is a massive bonus. Wish all movies were offered like this but glad at least Best Buy is able to do so.

I'm a fan of monster movies so I'm biased. This movie is well done, and looks incredible. in both 4k and bluray. I'm not a fan of 3d. but I liked the 3d version. I like the storyline and how there going to bring all the monsters together in future movies.

This was a good introduction for Kong into what will be known as the Universal Monster Universe. They are remaking all the old classics. This movie was enjoyable and plot worked well. I look forward to seeing the epic showdown between Kong and Godzilla.

This is a really good film, new version of an old film.
