Wasn't sure what to expect with Kubo but I was pleasantly surprised. Really good movie. Both my kids and I really enjoyed it. Worth the purchase if you like buying blurays.

Wasn't sure what I was going to get but this turned out to be a great adventure. The story was very good and easy to follow so i believe even young children will enjoy this.

I had seen this movie in theater with my family and I couldn't wait to get it when it came out on blu-ray. The picture quality is great and it's good for kids and adults.

There are very animations of this caliber and this one excited me from beginning to the very end. I don't want to give away the ending however focus on my REVIEW SUMMARY.

My whole family loved this movie, very good storyline that even kept my 2 year old glued to the movie. Definitely recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good story

This movie is a visual masterpiece. The storyline is great, though a bit dark for my 6 year old. Adults will appreciate this movie more than their young children will. It really is an epic film that should have been done in 2 parts. At the end it all feels rushed and the viewer is left wanting more.

I can't believe this wasn't more of a hit. It's Laika stepping up to contend with Pixar and they bring it. One of the best animated films I've seen in years. BIG recommend.

Kubo is one of the best movies of the year! The slipcover for the BluRay is wonderful and the film looks gorgeous in the BluRay format! A must have for lovers of animation

Kubo is an almost unbelievable example of stop motion photography at its finest, while its story feels distinctly Japanese. The only thing that kept me from giving it a five-star rating was that its ending seemed a little rushed and unsatisfying, but it's still a film I wholeheartedly recommend.

This is one of the best films that has been made by this company compared to the others such as Coraline, Paranorman and Box Trolls. They really put a lot of work in the detail of this movie that people have to see it; so original and new that you'll be glued to your seat to find out what's next.

I was going to rent this movie on DEMAND. Decided to just purchase it as a New Release movie on DVD. Glad I did! My whole family loved it!! Great movie, at a good price.

Very good movie. It's about a kid who accidentally summons a vengeful spirit from the past but there is more so I won't spoil it. Enjoyed this movie and recommend it.

My wife and I enjoyed this movie when it came out. So, I purchased this for her birthday. She was very happy with the movie. Picking up the movie at the store was not a good experience, but I can't blame the movie for the awful customer service of the Best Buy employees and their management.

Another great production from the makers of Coraline. I really enjoyed the story as it unfolded (the meaning of "two strings"). The set design was truly amazing.

This movie is a work of art. The art of frame by frame stop motion photography shows that an animated film can still be a work of art. I loved every second of it.

If you like any of the other Laika movies, this one's going to blow your mind. Beautiful design, story telling... and if you're into samurai films, that's a plus. A+++

I had heard good things about this movie so I bought it for my kids and they LOVE IT!!! There are a few creepy scenes with the Aunts, but other than that it's great.

This is just an art masterpiece the fact it's stop motion animation is bypassed by the detailed story, dynamic characters and riveting picturesque style. A must watch.
