This was a very fresh an unexpected adventure for the entire family. My kids want to watch it over and over again. The animation is truly amazing!

This is stop motion animation. There was actually a time you could by props used in the movie around launch time. Kubo is forced to solve the mystery of the fallen samuari, his father. He meets some comical characters on the way. But it truly is a journey

Kubo and the Two Strings gives you all that you could want in a family animated movie, but more than that is a splendid, heart-rending fantasy

My 16 and 8 year Olds and I have really enjoyed this movie. Great story line that keeps you interested accompanied by beautiful animation.

this movie couldve easily been an animated movie, but they pushed the limits of stop motion and ended up with one of the best movies of the year

Not Disney and not Pixar but this is a good movie outside of these studios. Good story and animation is pretty good. Plus on sale for 9.99.

I did enjoy the movie, but I would say it was a bit dark for my 6 year old to watch. He did like it, but did say some parts did creep him out.
