Watched this movie at the theater with my son and his children ages 8 and 5. We all enjoyed the movie that's why I bought it.

Great animation in a very nice story. A few scary parts, but overall good for families and kids over 5 years old. Recommend!

Love this studio and this might be my favorite of their films. If you missed it in the theater definitely worth checking out.

Good movie for the kids. A little dark at times, but im glad there are movies for kids that aren't all sunshine and rainbows.

Laika always puts out the highest quality movies (Paranorman, Coraline, Boxtrolls), and this keeps their streak going. Borrowing heavily from Japanese folklore, it delivers an epic tale that's appropriate for children and adults.

Impressive stop-motion animation makes this fantasy tale even more enjoyable. Great story, lots of heart. Wonderful movie.

I picked this up on a whim to try out an animated movie on my new UHD tv. It ended up being my favorite movie if the year.

Laika has turned out a great movie with Kubo. Looks and sounds fantastic on Blu ray was definitely worth the buy for us.

I enjoyed this movie very much the animation was great and the storyline was great must see with the family and Friends

and also for the "older kids" of the family. Excellent old school stop- motion animation from the "Coraline" animators.
