I enjoyed the storyline even though it was animated. The colors and the detailed artwork was top notch.

This is a predictable tale utilizing the familiar characteristics of its heritage. The animation is well done and fluid. Although it starts out grim, it contains the usual happy ending. The humor is hit or miss depending on your personal preferences. This is not a "Disney" classic that you will want to watch over and over again.
