I wasn’t sure if she would like it, but I knew she loved LOL dolls, so I took a chance. My granddaughter was so thrilled and full of joy when she saw the glitter and what she could make with it. She would not put it down but continue to play with it all day long. There was a big mess on the table and on the floor when she moved from one spot to the other, but I knew she was having a good time. All I could do was smile and I take a picture of her having such a wonderful time. A four-year-old walked in the room and she wanted to join the fun. I wanted to say no, that was my granddaughter’s Christmas present but we let her join in and the fun turned into a big mess but they were laughing and making so much stuff and just having a wonderful big time. What a wonderful Christmas Day if enjoyment this turned out to be. Us parents did not have to supervise or get involved because the girls and one boy were all having fun. They all helped clean up without the parents getting involved.

However we had troubles getting the dogs to stay in the folder so that you could spin them to put the glitter on. It is also very very messy and the children found it frustrating.

A little difficult to use

However the mannequin does not stay in holder well and when spinning the ball, the glitter is not evenly dispersed. We found it better to just hand paint the glue and sprinkle the glitter on.

The glitter is not permanently glued (or does not stick at all), which means you can reuse it and try new possibilities. Obviously it is messy, so be prepared and use it on a safe area. As long as you do not expect to perfectly customize the doll, this kit is fine, especially for younger kids to mess around.

Put glue on doll and insert into ball, Spin the ball and glitter or fuzz sticks to the glue. Every doll is customized when it's complete.
