Fantastic movie, daughter loved it (teenage son did not)!

Enjoyed it in the theater; wanted to be able to see it again

If you like musicals you will love this movie. well worth it.

Had to return disc as other wouldn't play. Very disappointed.

How was this the best picture Oscar? Hey it was a nice story and it had a certain style, but both my wife and I has the same thought - this was so much below the level of a Gene Kelly musical. Average picture yes. Best of the year? Must have been a pretty poor year.

Movie is lIke a modern casablanca meets singin in the rain.

Not as good as I thought it would be. Perhaps my expectations were just too high. Emma stone was brilliant and I do think she earned her Oscar. Ryan Gosling's role was a lot less challenging. I like musicals but I found the music to be very repetitive and lacking in complexity
