I'm not a big fan of musicals, but my wife really wanted to see this movie. She loved it. I thought it was pretty good, for a musical.

This film was shot in 2K but they upscaled it for 4k. My tv will do that all ready. I wish there was a simble for upscaled material.

After reading all the great reviews I decided to buy the steelbook of lala land. The songs were only okay and overall was unimpressed.

It wasnt great. Wife and I got super bored midway through the movie. I really dont think that it was worth the purchase to be honest.

Very Disappointing Multiple Oscar winning romantic comedy. Choppy plot line, usual see-saw love affair with predictable conclusion.

Must have gotten all the good talk from the Hollywood people because the location is California, didn't think it was that good.

This is an interesting movie based on two different people and how they need each other to grow. Great idea, good overall.

if you like musicals then this is your movie, otherwise do not watch. Nice compositions but didn't like the ending

While I didn't love the ending, and the music wasn't near as spectacular as musicals of old, it was still very good. Have fun!

I don't get what the hype was all about, I thought the movie was average at best, not worth the purchase or watching again.

I liked the music and the visuals were beautiful but it is a bit overrated. I get the idea of old Hollywood but still.

I think the actors were miscast. I generally love Emma Stone but she was too stiff and not convincing in the role.

No matter how hard I try, I just can't seem to take musicals seriously. My wife and daughter however, loved it.

Average musical movie that I feel was over-hyped by professional critiquer's. The 4K HD was also average.

Wasn't excited about it to start but it got better as it went on. Didn't care much for the ending either.

This movie did not live up the the hype that surrounded it. It's not a bad movie, but the plot line is completely lacking in creativity. There are a bunch of musical numbers throughout that pay homage to musicals back in the day, but the dancing and singing is pretty sub-par and just doesn't do justice to the movie genre. I would't watch this movie again.

Ok, so I'm a guy. Let's face it. I bought this for my wife. She likes it and that's all that matters.
