This was my wife's pick, but I watched it with a bit of curiosity--trying to figure out what all the hype was about. The actors were great and if you don't mind the occasional "it's now a musical" moments, you'll certainly enjoy it. I won't spoil the ending, but its definitely not what I expected...it's probably more true to our reality than most films of this sort...

Wonderfully imaginative musical in the style of old Hollywood, full of sweeping dance numbers and heartbreaking songs. Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling are great as the lovers at the center of this movie and I think it probably should have won Best Picture at the Oscars.

I streamed this movie before I bought it. I decided to buy it in 4K for the best picture and sound. This is the best musical that I have ever seen. I loved the music and the plot and everything in it. No wonder it won 6 academy awards. I've watched it over and over...

"La La Land" is just absolutely amazing! It's a film full of wonder, hopes & dreams! If your'e a fan of the theater and dance, this film is for you. Even if your not, its premise of going through trials and tribulations until you've hit it big will surely apply to any one.

My wife and I are big fans of musicals - the musicals that graced the silver screen between the 1930's and 1960's. With the release of "La La Land" we are pleased to say that musicals are back again! The audio and video quality of "La La Land" is excellent as well as the bonus features on Blu-ray disc. Hopefully this will be the beginning of many more new musicals.

I waited patiently for this to come out on video so I could watch it again, and to have it in Blu-Ray makes watching this so much better! Thank you Best Buy for having it in stock on day one, and for always being such an easy place to shop for any 'must-have's' like this!

If you love life and the dream of living in LA, this is the film for you! It's a must have for anyone who has ever had a FIRST LOVE. Ryan googlerz and heartthrob chasers! Plus there's music and comedy thrown in!! It's Los Angeles's Love Letter to all its I habitants...

this review is for the steelbook rather than the movie which everyone loves but i still think is pretty similar to moulin rouge....lately steelbook has been getting mostly pop art exclusive which honestly the artworks have been a letdown for me....but this one is such a nice artwork the back the inside is so beautiful that is worth adding to your collection....

The movie looks great in 4K - the colors will pop right off your screen. Surrround-sound great as well, and the Steelbook case is gorgeous.

Part of the charm of this musical fantasy are the not so perfect singing & dancing of the leads Ryan Gosling & Emma Stone. In this film you'll see some homages to musicals of the past, especially it's style and tone that matches Jacques Demy's The Umbrellas of Cherbourg and The Young Girls of Rochefort. This isn't a great movie to me, but it is entertaining.

This movie is pure magic! One of my top 5 movies of all time. Great acting, great score, and great story. The steelbook itself is beautiful and worthy of any blu ray collection.

Classic movie with an amazing SB release. I loved the OG SB from the original release but the pageantry for this newest one makes it a must buy, especially at that price-point.

My wife absolutely love this movie. It has great storyline and full of romance and beautiful music. I purchase for her under an agreement that I would not watch with her :) I hate romance movie.. not just my thing at all. As long as I keep her happy, it's all good!

This was one of my favorite movies of the year, so when it came out on blu-ray I knew i had to pick it up. I'm a huge fan of listening to commentary so to be able to listen to the director and composer talk about their process is worth the price of admission for me.

Ive never seen this movie and will likely never watch it but man o man the artwork on this steelbook is very beautiful. It was a no brainer to grab this release on Day 1

It's a musical and a love story. So there are beautiful young people doing fantastic dancing and singing. But it's also a story about finding the person to share life with, and that doesn't always coincide with the wished for fantasy of finding that perfect person.

I enjoy buying my favorite movies in the Best Buy SteelBook versions of DVD/BlueRay. The steel cases are solidly built and add extra protection for the disc and come in great cover designs. My most recent purchase was La La Land an interesting and enjoyable movie.

I bought this steelbook over all the other versions of La La Land and it was the best decision. The steelbook itself is really nice as well as the art work inside. The only thing is that the copy I received was heavily damaged and had to return it for another one.

Amazing beautiful steelbook. Lionsgate is so good at making these beautiful works of art....Love the slipcovers as well can't wait for more of their releases!!!!!!

This was one of those movie my girlfriend had to see, so she forced me to set down and watch it. I went in not knowing really any thing about it other than it winning a bunch of awards. Very catchy music, not a typical "love story" or ending, enjoyed it alot
