I wasn't interested in watching this movie in the theater but my daughter saw it and really liked it. When we saw it on sale at Best Buy she convinced me to buy it for her so I did and we went home and watched it. I'm glad I did because it turned out to be a pretty good movie if you like musicals.

This should have won the Academy Award for Best Movie! It is a bold move to make a musical for the screen, much less an original musical. It's such an honest story of Hollywood told by a masterful storyteller. Bravo!

I bought this movie for my daughter, who loves this movie. She made me sit down with her and watch it. Thought it was going to be a boring movie, but I was surprised. It is a pretty good move, and the music is amazing.

This Oscar runner up makes no mistakes. Well-acted and superbly directed, this film is like a modern day "Singin' In The Rain". If you missed it in theaters don't miss out on adding this new classic to your collection.

With a nod to the olden days when movie musicals were all the rage, this light-hearted, sweet and absorbing movie deserved all the Oscar nominations it received. Sit back, relax and simply enjoy the wonderful performances from Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, who deservedly won the Best Actress Oscar.

From the start the movie is amazing, the way the director manages the colors and the ambiance is superb. Nicely done by the actors, it's a must see. Finally a romance that can transport us to..., well... La La Land.

i love this movie so, so much that i had to buy it on steelbook. from the visuals and the music. 10/10

One of those movies that I didn’t think I’d like because of the music involved but this movie had great dialogue, a very unique story line and a great ending That was not your typical ending from Hollywood

With how the world is nowadays...this movie attempts to take you back to simpler times...bright...colorful...free of the witch hunts that are prevalent in today's times. Gosling and Watson are tremendous here.

Lucked out and ordered the steelbook on the app, the steelbook is just gorgeous and its one of my favorite movies!~ and a great price too!

As always, the steelbooks Best Buy releases are beautiful. But this time around it was priced at the same amount as the standard edition. It's nice as a collector to not always get gouged price wise when you upgrade.

I can't stand musicals, but Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone make it fantastic, and Damian Chezelle strikes gold, the steelbook is marvelous, the music is phenomenal, and the cinematography is beyond beautiful. Fantastic.

Just like all other Best Buy exclusive steel book Blu rays, this one is amazing. Personally love the film. You will too if you like 1950's musicals. The art on the case itself is minimal yet beautiful. Had to have it

As a 4k blu ray it's decent. The film source is from a 2k digital intermediate, so it's not going to wow you. But, the HDR and color palette is excellent. As a movie it is very well done. The characters and direction is top notch!

This movie has touched my emotions on all sorts of levels! Excellent acting, great singing, and an overall pleasant experience. Funny though, this movie for its happy go lucky feeling, is also sad. Excellent movie!

I'm a big fan of musicals so this movie was highly recommended to me by my friends. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, the music and the acting. Ryan and Emma were perfect together. This one is definitely a favorite.

Really what else should be said but Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, this is what their fourth film together?? They just tear up the screen when they do projects together, hope they plan to collaborate again and again!

La La Land is an absolute masterpiece. The acting is spectacular and the cinematography is astounding. However, I am not a supporter of the Steelbook special editions. I understand collectors may want them (for some reason), but I would much rather have supplemental content than a steel book.

Okay...chick flick. I won't spoil it for you, so if you're surfing here to find details so you can sound intelligent when your wife asks what it is about...you are out of luck. Now gimmee ,y best buy points!

So reminded me of the musicals I loved as a young woman. And so glad it was done for today's generation to enjoy something new ... I love today's action movies as well..........but so good to go back to old times.
