It was a good movie. I watched it with my 9yo daughter and it was appropriate for her to watch. It was a little artistic in production but I enjoyed it.

I'm not big on musicals but this one is really good. 4k picture is nice but the HDR really shines.

I realize that this is a musical, but do like the jazz scenes in the film as well. This was an Oscar nominated movie and found it pretty entertaining.

This was a great movie and on UHD Blu Ray the colors really pop and bring the story to life.

Like The Artist (a recent silent film) and perhaps Hail Caesar as well (a Coen brothers comedy involving the film industry of the 1950s), this film seeks to tap into current nostalgia for the Hollywood of old. After a first viewing, the wife and I did not quite know what to think if this quirky film, but with additional viewings, we came to find it quite enjoyable. The bluray/DVD combo that we bought, with its numerous special features, is a good value.
