For a musical, I feel that it should require actors and actress with the ability to sing. I felt that the musical piece of the movie was a let down compare to classical musicals. The plot wasn't anything new and felt cheesy at times and somewhat predictable. What I do like is how it portray the life of a struggling artist to some extent. It wasn't a horrible movie, it's just wasn't for me.
