i am not into musicals at all but i found this film to be very in gauging . i was captivated from start to finish. the film itself was great the sound was excellent and the picture quality was fair i think it was done on purpose to give it that classic movie look. i wish it was sharper and i cleaner picture but other than that it was great . to the guys out there this is a great date movie that can be enjoyed by both man and woman. check it out you will not be disappointed.

Not a fan of musicals. Just putting that out there. This movie open with a musical number and there a few more within the first forty-five minutes but they become less and less as the movie progresses. I found myself completely caught up in the story. The struggle for success for the two leads. One wants success on his own terms and the other just wants it. Emma Stone really shines here and was awarded with the best actress Oscar. Well deserved. Got the steelbook. Strangely I couldn't pre-order it from the website. Had to go to the store early Tuesday as they opened and picked it up there. Another to the collection. HA!

I loved this movie (I'm a sucker for a good musical) and I love the case too! The only thing I don't like is that the 4k option does NOT come with the case--I had to buy them both, switch the 4k to the steelbook then sell the excess on ebay. It's a hassle to do that, so hopefully Best Buy will start including the best version in the collectible cases in the future....either way this whole set is highly recommended, particularly if you're a steelbook collector.

This cream colored steelbook has an elegant design that screams of craftsmanship. Without reusing the same art from the standard BluRay release, this Steelbook for La La Land gives a nice color contrast to the average steelbook collection with its unique off-white finish. While the steelbook does not have any embossing or debossing on the title or the figures on the steelbook itself- the gloss finish and uniqueness of this steelbook still warrant a purchase.

This is one of the most beautiful steelbooks that I have ever seen. The effect that the slipcover creates is really cool. As one of my top ten movies, this steelbook was a must-have in my collection. This movie looks beautiful in 4K, with great HDR.

What else is there to say about the movie? The accolades speak for themselves. Personally, it was a lot better than I expected. I thought it would be a typical "chick flick", but it was actually very enjoyable with a throwback kind of feeling. As for the bluray itself, I went with the Best Buy exclusive as it really is beautiful packaging. Other stores have exclusive interviews, however, the steelbook is something I can display and show off.

First timer chasing a Best Buy steelbook exclusive. There was plenty of them and all in great condition. Fast service. Friendly service. I was on a 30 minute lunch break panicking what to get my lady for a gift and boom. Limited Edition La La Land steelbook. I feel like people underestimate the gift of electronics when it comes to sentiment. Sometimes a stuffed bear and a card really doesn't say much. Thanks for coming through clutch Best Buy.

One of the best modern musicals ever made, and on 4K Ultra HD; this is the best it has ever looked, which matches this absolutely beautiful steelbook edition. Do not sleep on this edition, it's truly a treasure; and an amazing film to boot. Highly recommended.

Since la la land is my favorite film, I decided to start my steelbook collection with it. It’s a very beautiful steelbook, everything from the cover, the inside, and even disk! It well resembles the film. Will definitely be buying more steelbooks because if this one.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time so I knew I had to get it in 4k. It's so nice it comes with 3 copies including the blu-ray and digital which all look great. I took off one star because the plastic box it comes it was chipped in the corner - a piece of it is missing :/ doesn't affect the movie though it just looks weird. I would exchange it but it's not sold in stores and it would cost money to send it back.

I probably like Whiplash better, but dang is this movie pretty to look at. I totally get why it did not win best picture, as I believe 2016 was stacked. You can either look at this as a bland story or get way too emotionally invested in it, your choice, I personally took on the latter. I wish Best Buy had a 4k steelbook, but I am not too bent out of shape over it. Would recommend to anyone collecting the steelbooks for sure.

We really loved La La Land in the theater, and enjoyed it just as much -- maybe more -- at home. Best Buy's sale price was better than Walmart, and the disc was well worth watching. It was particularly interesting to notice many small details that we missed on the "big screen". There were quite a few items that lend reality and credibility that we could stop and back up and look at again that made it worth having at home.

For the longest I refused to watch this movie because I thought it was just another mediocre romance musical, but wow I was proven wrong. Now I understand why this movie almost won the Oscar. Plus the steelbook looks beautiful!

This is an enjoyable film with great visuals and a pretty decent story, and that's coming from someone who typically hates musicals. The steelbook itself is gorgeous and the artwork alone is the primary reason why I wanted this edition. Would definitely recommend it.

As a performer myself, this film hits home in a big way. Any actor, musician, or artist will value and appreciate this movie on so many levels. But even for all those movie buffs, this motion picture pays such a fantastic homage to the Hollywood musical movies of years gone by, so there's no doubt that "La La Land" will be an extraordinary addition to your movie collection. Absolutely adore the original songs!

I bought La La Land for my mom for Christmas since she needed at least one 4K DVD to use with her new TV, and I ended up watching it with her before I went back home after the holidays. The colors really pop in this movie and it was not at all as I expected. Now, it's certainly a musical but it wasn't mind-numbingly over the top like others I have seen. I can see why it won many awards last year.

As a fan of jazz, I was captured by this movie early on. It's a beautiful movie, with great cinematography and vivid colors, creating an almost live stage-like feel to the production. The soundtrack is great, very catchy, and the story, though a bit simple, still maintains a sense of heart. And it doesn't exactly go where you would think, which was a nice twist on what I thought would be a predictable story.

Love this steelbook! I’m so happy I ordered this. The artwork of the steelbook is amazing. It’s a bit glossy. The quality of the movie is great. I can tell the difference between the 4k and Blu-ray that I had before. It’s one of my favorite movies as a collector.

Very entertaining. I have watched this movie 3 times. I have loved it every time. The singing is great, and the chemistry between Stone & Gosling is great. I enjoyed the acting in the movie, particularly a dinner scene where the plot of the movie turns. I really liked the ending of the movie, despite what critics say. The music you hear in the movie is great. Highly Highly HIGHLY recommended.

La La Land its what you dont expect to be, its not a simple "musical" movie. It's more like a Disney movie with some songs. In every way this movie completes what its to be a Holywood movie. It got all the Oscars it deserved (we all know Best Picture was it to). Tho watching it on 4K is another experiece, all the colors & views. This are the type of movies that are perfect for a UHD.
