It'd be hard to call this full VR, but don't underestimate how well 3D appearances and depth can look even with the most basic of viewports. Depth, distance, height all look impressive when added here, and it can even run (in limited or full form) with patched versions of Mario and Zelda. Neat stuff.

Since the Switch screen is only 720p, viewing it so close is a bit rough, and you can see the individual pixels. Other than that, the in-game visuals are still quite nice and pleasant to look at. Most of the games included are actually quite fun to play and cater well to shorts bursts of playtime.

This works so much better than I would have expected. Okay the downside is it is cardboard for the holder but otherwise it is a great experience. No it's not going to replace your Vive but it is fun.

Great item for kids. It does require a lot of assembly and instruction following but the outcome is worth it. I would recommend getting the warranty since it is cardboard.

Works well and a good number of small games come with the kit. Be prepared it will take a significant time to put all of the kit together. A child will need an adults help throughout the process. The basic viewfinder needs a strap so it can be played without being held up the entire time.

This keeps your kid busy for a few days putting everything together and trying each one out was they completely them. The VR is pretty cool and the drawing elephant is the coolest part!

We built the VR Googles and it took ~1 hour. The Motion tracking works fairly well and there are a lot of simple games you can play with just the Googles. The only drawback is the resolution of the Switch screen. Its passable, but does not compare to a real VR set like the PSVR or Vive.

My nephew is a big Switch fan and loves to build things from scratch. With the benefits of both, LABO provides young creative minds not only fun games but satisfaction from making their own toys with little or no help from adults.

Another excellent addition to the cardboard devices. The 9 yr old and 5 yr old love the games. Just watch that the kids don’t get dizzy

My son and his 84 year old grandfather put this together and they have had a lot of fun with it. I have only used it for a few minutes and it's a lot of fun.

This is amazing. Nintendo has made a kit that is super accessible and easy to spend hours with. The VR is great! My 7 yr old absolutely loves these projects!

This item was very hard to find at Christmas so I'm glad I found it at BB. I love that you have to build first, then play. My son just loves it.

My boy just got this and has so much fun. He loves building all the contraptions to add to the switch. Nintendo again bring out its creativeness.

The Labo is very fun and entertaining to play. Takes a little time to put each piece together, but the instructions are very thorough. I would like to see more games that can be played...but maybe that will come.

This is a great concept, but it has room for improvement. Mario and Zelda have a vr mode, but there is no head strap... have to hold manually. It’s fun to put together but the switch is too low resolution for a VR headset.

Nintendo is always doing great things. Even Labo is great, but for a short time. VR? Better than the others released so far. Definitely worth it

So although it's cardboard, Nintendo Labo Vr brings a lot of creativity and possibilities to the table at a really reasonable price. Try it out.

and I love it too. My kids build it. VR is great for a console like switch. Im not expecting the switch & its controller can do those things.

I originally bought the starter set that had only 2 things. I returned it and got the full set - as it was a lot more value. My kids love it!

The build process is time consuming, but well documented and the pieces fit very well. The experience is well worth the time and expense.
