What can you say - does this movie appear a bit dated now? Of course. But from the days before cutting edge CGI, this is a classic and must watch film for the genre.

The movie itself looks and sounds terrific as expected- Sony did a great job on the transfer here for both the Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD copies. The steelbook is a nice-looking package, but I wish it somehow included the booklet that came as part of the standard Blu-ray digibook.

A classic and finally in 4k ultra HD. Perfect for any fan of classic 80s/90s movies or David Bowie.

Great movie. Sad to say the 4k isn't that great since the film is so old, but that has nothing to do with the quality, just sheer age. Excellent movie to watch again and again.

The blu ray case for this movie is a digipack kind of case and the artwork on it is amazing. The film itself is really well transferred and looks great on blu ray.

I have the dvd and decided to upgrade some of my old favorites. The movie looks sharper but still has the charm of the original. The new special features and interviews are a nice addition.

A greatly put together tale with a great story and great music in it as well. If you haven’t watched this movie you definitely should.

This particular 4K Blu-ray definitely looks better than the original Blu-ray, but it's not going to have the blacks and the colors of a newer movie. This is a pretty old movie, they've done a good job in trying to update it but it's not complete 4K quality. The sound is quite good though

I have the original dvd 4k just bring out the picture quality

So much for an anniversity set with alot of special features and the movie itself so much better quality and of course david bowie the goblin king what a fatastic fantasy

Jim Henson was a master of puppetry and this, along with Dark Crystal, are his masterpieces. This is an exceptional blu-ray release, and it's well deserved for this film.

Absolutely love that this is in 4k. My kids now love it too.

I love the book that this movie comes with along with all of the extras and features. It is such a great movie and a classic. You just don't see movies like this anymore.

Excellent release of this film on a digibook packaging. Now, we need the Dark Crystal in Digibook

This was a movie that I really enjoyed as a kid. Watching now as a adult I didnt find it as good as I once did. My 6 year old daughter on the other hand said it was the best horror movie she has ever seen. It's PG but to her it was scary but something she enjoyed alot

Looks fantastic! I love this film. Its comes with a beautiful book. Very happy with this release.
