    Bought a new iMac and used this item (along with an SSD) to upgrade my old 2011 iMac for use as guest/family room computer. After upgrade, old computer performing much better and closer to a much newer computer for normal routine tasks (email, web surfing, word processing etc,)

    I’ve had several of these drives which I still use. They’re great for travel & have always held up under intense workloads. I do a lot of video and photo editing on the fly & they’ve been very reliable. The various cables are a godsend when I have to switch around machines with different inputs.
