    I am a professional photographer and have used at least 10 Lacies over the years. So believe me when I say I do NOT RECOMMEND. Without fail, every single one of these will disconnect randomly, and then will take hours to reconnect. This got so bad that I completely lost EVERYTHING from at least 4 different Lacies because they disconnect so much that eventually they stop reconnecting. Recently I have used Sandisk SSD (about 4 of them) and they are SO much better and even faster and smaller. Please do not by a LaCie and just go buy a Sandisk SSD.

    Works great just don’t ever use as a back up disk for a time machine on Mac, cuz now my device is unusable.
