I have lost track of how long I have been using these devices for backup and more my music library, but they continue to be just what I need.

I'm a videographer and I love these drives and will continue to buy them for my work. Overall they tend to be reliable and rugged enough for my day to day travels and I love that LaCie includes the proper cables for both old and new computers. Great, reliable drives!

Very sturdy and easy to use. I have stored allt on it and when i want something back on my phone i just connect it via the wire and add it back on. Very simple. I cant tell you how many times i dropped it and no damage occurred.

Durable, well-priced, and easy to use. The USB-C jack is slightly aggressive (I have to really yank it from my MacBook), but this also ensures that it doesn’t accidentally disconnect.

This was exactly the storage solution I was looking for at a reasonable price. I know the Lacie is durable.

I have several of these as Time Machine backups for various iMacs at work and home etc. For the most part, they are totally reliable, look good on my desk, and are easy to set up. I purchased this to replace another similar model that died after about 3 years. I would have hoped to get more time out of the last one but understand that sometimes that is the life of a hard drive. Since it was just a backup, corruption of the last device was not an issue.

I produce as well as do graphic design on Photoshop and video editing on premiere. This has been working GREAT! Especially the Type-C connection. Files in Gigs FLY out of my computer and into the drive with ease and boot up with ease as well when opening folders. I love it!

Good external drive, especially for backing up files. Comes with a type-C USB and USB 3.0-3.1 cables, so it can be used either way. It is rugged and I like the shock-resistant rubber sleeve that surrounds the whole drive. Don't hesitate to get this product!

Love my LaCie! It’s super cute with the color, but I love how much it holds. Totally gives me all the free storage on my computer!

I've always had great experience with LaCie external hard drives. Especially the rugged ones. They hold up extremely well while traveling. Plenty of storage space and perfect connection port with my MacBook Pro. Big plus not needing a power supply since it's bus powered!

I have been using LaCie drives for years. The ruggedized exterior give me the sense that they can travel well. It travels with me wherever I go. I can back up my camera memory cards for a safe backup.

This usb c drive performs very well and is a good value from a performance/cost perspective. I found that in my use, as back up for my Mac Book Air 2020, the standard usb c charging cable provides better throughput than the cable supplied with the LaCie unit.

This works for any type starter pro weirdo movies!

I was pleased with how easy it was to plug this drive into the appropriate port and follow online instructions for setting it up. I was up and running in less than five minutes. The drive has performed flawlessly since. I use this with an Apple iMac.

This device is a necessity for me to store my files for work as well as those associated with my leisure photography.

Bought this for daughter's college. They recommend a rugged hard drive, and this drive fits the bill. Easy to connect and she seems to understand how to make it work.

My last external drive lasted a year, but wasn’t a lacie. This one is still working great and looks like it can take a little bit of roughing up that happens in transit sometimes. Worth it.
