Rugged the case looks and feels like it will survive droops

I produce as well as do graphic design on Photoshop and video editing on premiere. This has been working GREAT! Especially the Type-C connection. Files in Gigs FLY out of my computer and into the drive with ease and boot up with ease as well when opening folders. I love it!

Good external drive, especially for backing up files. Comes with a type-C USB and USB 3.0-3.1 cables, so it can be used either way. It is rugged and I like the shock-resistant rubber sleeve that surrounds the whole drive. Don't hesitate to get this product!

I've always had great experience with LaCie external hard drives. Especially the rugged ones. They hold up extremely well while traveling. Plenty of storage space and perfect connection port with my MacBook Pro. Big plus not needing a power supply since it's bus powered!

I’ve never had any problems with this SD drive. Looks cool and easy to label. Would definitely buy again, and definitely will.

I have been using LaCie drives for years. The ruggedized exterior give me the sense that they can travel well. It travels with me wherever I go. I can back up my camera memory cards for a safe backup.

This usb c drive performs very well and is a good value from a performance/cost perspective. I found that in my use, as back up for my Mac Book Air 2020, the standard usb c charging cable provides better throughput than the cable supplied with the LaCie unit.

I have had 3 different LaCie drives. They all work. One is 20 years old and uses a Firewire. Still works. I've had others that fail.

My last external drive lasted a year, but wasn’t a lacie. This one is still working great and looks like it can take a little bit of roughing up that happens in transit sometimes. Worth it.

I was pleased with how easy it was to plug this drive into the appropriate port and follow online instructions for setting it up. I was up and running in less than five minutes. The drive has performed flawlessly since. I use this with an Apple iMac.

This is the latest LaCie drive I’ve purchased. They’re reliable, but you do have to pay attention to specs. This isn’t one of their faster drives. It was purchased last minute and performed perfectly, albeit somewhat slower than anticipated. Good for a backup drive, etc., but not for regularly accessing files.

Excellent hard drive. I bought this to use as my backup drive for Time Machine. Easy set up for Mac. It works like a dream. I would recommend to anyone.

Love this hard drive, use it as a backup for multiple computers. 3 computers and thousands of images backed up and haven’t even put a dent in the 2TB.

I have a high end Alienware and decided to copy 202GB of images to the drive and it took almost 3 hours USB-C to USB-C. I would not say this is a USB 3 when it comes to the speed. LaCie is a great brand I truly rely on, but this is a spinning platter inside a nice case with rubber on it. I could have probably made one of my own, but to be honest, this was a convenience purchase that suits my backup paranoia.

Fantastic worked exactly as advertised, plugged backed up my 1tb macbook pro in about 6 hours through time machine restored in about 3!
