Rugged and Fast storage. I am keeping my edited photos on this 2TB external HD. I am glad it is so ruggedly constructed .

It has been a very easy hard drive to navigate as well as a reliable one, very glad I choose this one.

This is the latest LaCie drive I’ve purchased. They’re reliable, but you do have to pay attention to specs. This isn’t one of their faster drives. It was purchased last minute and performed perfectly, albeit somewhat slower than anticipated. Good for a backup drive, etc., but not for regularly accessing files.

Already dropped it once and works just fine! Great for backing up my DJ music videos.

Love this hard drive, use it as a backup for multiple computers. 3 computers and thousands of images backed up and haven’t even put a dent in the 2TB.

It is a good product to store important files for use on Mac.

Using as a "Time Machine" backup drive for my MacBook Air. Simple and rugged, does the job.

I have had 3 different LaCie drives. They all work. One is 20 years old and uses a Firewire. Still works. I've had others that fail.

I have a high end Alienware and decided to copy 202GB of images to the drive and it took almost 3 hours USB-C to USB-C. I would not say this is a USB 3 when it comes to the speed. LaCie is a great brand I truly rely on, but this is a spinning platter inside a nice case with rubber on it. I could have probably made one of my own, but to be honest, this was a convenience purchase that suits my backup paranoia.

A good go to for durability if you’re someone that likes to have a backup thrown in your bag.

I have been using this item for a while and I have nothing but good things to say about it! It has cords to easily connect to my laptop and so much space to put on projects and videos! Great for storing photos and old memories.

I was looking for a drive that was rugged. I spend time in the field and wanted a drive I could carry in my backpack without concern if it gets bumped or splashed with water. I’ve used it for a few months and works great.
