    I purchased this external drive for my nephew. He asked me to find out why his MacBook Pro was so slow. He only has a 256GB of space and it was almost completely used. I freed up a lot of space by using the Apple Cloud. The external is for backing up his system. I love the drive and so does my nephew.

    love these lacie rugged drives. I wish they still had the thunderbolt 2 port, but that's so minor in the grand scheme of things.

    The use of the device is very easy and so efficient. It is more compact and seems really sturdy. Something that I was a bit annoyed with was that the product was supposed to come with two cables, but mine only came with a double-ended USB-C which is no help to transferring files on a computer, but since I already started using it, the customer service offered a rebate of $10 to compensate. Overall great product.
