I was having problems with my computer. I have used the external drive to backup the computer. It has worked excellently.

Easy to use with to backup a Mac using Time Machine or manually copy files to a separate disk. You can even set this up to have some of each!

A Sturdy HD

They have been fairly reliable but lately many have been crashing. These get extremely hot and are bulky. After 3-4 crashing in a few month time span I switched to Sandisk SSD.
