DO NOT BUY!!

Thought maybe it was my computer so I did some research and noticed its a common problem when hard drives start to fail or a faulty cable. Best buys return policy is garbage for being as big of company as they are and they wont accept it back so now im stuck with a 3 week old hard drive that is faulty. Would not recommend shopping with best buy. Seems shady that you have to buy a membership to get 30 day returns, they know what they are doing and its a trash model. Bad business practice

So believe me when I say I do NOT RECOMMEND. Without fail, every single one of these will disconnect randomly, and then will take hours to reconnect. This got so bad that I completely lost EVERYTHING from at least 4 different Lacies because they disconnect so much that eventually they stop reconnecting. Recently I have used Sandisk SSD (about 4 of them) and they are SO much better and even faster and smaller. Please do not by a LaCie and just go buy a Sandisk SSD.
