My new MacBook Pro, purchased at Best Buy, didn’t recognize it, and the manufacturer, though friendly and responsive, couldn’t help. So, I’m out the price of purchase. Just goes to show, buyer beware.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m pretty clumsy so I drop this thing a ton. The rubber protection works amazing at protecting impact. Works perfectly! Also quite chew resistant as my dog has picked it up a few times while in the field. To him it’s just another rubber toy! Lol I take it everywhere with me. Upload all of my photos onto it every single evening. I’ve uploaded years worth of photos onto it and have not even used 20% of the drive yet.

This product has been helpful for storing footage and backing up completed projects. It has a USBC to USBC cable. Compatible with my MacBook Pro. It would have been amazing if I could connect the LaCie to my iPhone as well, but my iPhone has a lightning port, and the converter I bought does not work for transferring information. All-in-all, great product! I would recommend for anyone, with a compatible device, in need of storage. I purchased the product a month ago.
