As a mobile dj I was looking for something that would be able to hold all my files but perform well too. This has been amazing it barely filled up half way, and the ruggedness outside is perfect in case it falls it won’t easily break

Rugged & reliable 5+ years with my original, replaced after wear on the port over time caused unreliable connection, likely due to repeatedly tossing it in my bag with a cable connected. Leave the port disconnected when traveling / storing and you should be fine.

Bought this for my Mac air , love it since I'm a travel photographer and I used it to back up my pictures and run so apps as well

i love a good LaCie drive, the 5TB holds a massive amount. Only downside is that it’s not as fast to download video like the SSD Drive

A lot of storage in a small box, Wow! Used primarily for photo and data backup. Love that it has been very durable and has fast transfer rate.

I bought the product, used it and it was a good product. If you'd need the use of a product like this, than id say use this product. And that is my review of this product.

I use this drive to store virtual instruments for music production. These instrument files are huge and I have several on this drive. It loads quickly and is very rugged.

The only thing id say is to upgrade the usb-c cable for faster transfer speeds but other than that its so good!
