Great really great movie, the cast of actors were especially the best, they actually have you feeling as though you're there, the stories being told about the life and times of each character, fabulous really enjoyed the movie

NICE PERIOD PIECE THAT TAKES PLACE IN THE MID 1900S BLACK COMMUNITY GREAT STARS AND GOOD STORY

This is a great movie that touches upon a lot of life lessons for relationships of all types. It shows how everyone can make an impression (good or bad) and an impact on someone's life no matter how briefly you may know them. There were some really great performances by an outstanding cast. It took you through a wide range of emotions. Truly a movie gem to have in your collection.

Lackawanna Blues is a great movie, it shows how African/American's survived, before integration. It is a family movie that all ages can enjoy.

I saw this movie a few years ago and I had not been able to find it anywhere. Thanks Best Buy for being great!

This movie was well directed and lots stars that I enjoyed seeing.

I love this movie; my sisters and I watch it together at least once a month because it reminds us of the street we lived on in our home town and the community was called "Dye's Bottom", where the black folks lived. The street was lined with juke joints and boarding houses owned by African American females and was reminiscent of what happened on Friday-Saturday nights in our community. Everything is in this movie that we can identify with; the fish fries, dancing, gambling, bootlegging, and the blues music, and the head of the house helping everybody in the community.

This movie is great and you might be able to relate to most, if not all the characters in the movie. Nanny who could remind you of your grandmother that refuses to let a stranger in her arm reach to go hungry. Crazy neighbors that only the neighborhood understand. And just that feel of family all around, that was soon forgotten now-a-days

This movie delivered a very good message about family.
