After knee replacement surgery I was bound to bed more than I'd like thus the need for a lap desk to allow me to use my laptop and work from the bed as well as holding my plate while I ate. I liked the fact this lap desk because it rested on my lap instead of legs that would rest on the bed because I was rarely was sitting up straight. Worked perfectly as needed and we continue to​ use the LapGear LapDesk when needed.

I like this product because it provides a stable surface for my laptop and it's transportable and makes any surface usable for my laptop.

Overall I am happy with this purchase. The handle is nice when lugging it around. It looks pretty decent too with the black color it doesn't look so bad if I leave it on the coffee table. I have 17" HP laptop (not small) and this lap desk is plenty big enough. The only knock I have is that I wish the padding on the bottom had a little more cushion. It's comfortable enough... So I only docked 1 star.

Holds laptop while working in chair at home. Doesn't get hot on the legs. Perfect.

Great for sitting in the recliner or on the couch and working with your laptop. Plenty of room for the laptop and the mouse!

I liked this but wanted to use it with a Tablet. Its better for a large laptop PC. Otherwise it looked good to me.

Quality is great and the size makes it large enough to use a mouse even with a 17in laptop

Base is large enough to handle the largest laptops, but its size may be overkill for use with a smaller laptop.

Went looking for laptop tray and found this one. Husband liked it. Thought it was comfortable and fit his needs

For the price it works for me. Not something I would use for travel but for a stationary place it is great.

Bought this for my nephew who wanted a "gaming" keyboard for his computer. Looked at all 3 keyboards in this brand and we decided on this one basically because of price. He said he really only wanted a back lit keyboard and this fit the bill at half the price of the high end model. He liked the lighting of course and also the weight of the keyboard and the look/feel of the keys. He is very happy with this keyboard. Maybe as he gets older, we will upgrade but for now this works great!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I work from home and prefer a chair to a desk. I couldn't find anything else that would work for a large laptop and still have room for a mouse. The padding is comfortable and keeps the laptop cool even when I use my electric throw under it. I don't really use the zippered pockets because my laptop is always on the desktop and you have to flip it over to access the them. I can see this being helpful if you are moving the unit around.

This accessory is a good addtion to the laptop experience. I also like the storage pouches underneath

Useful on trips, provides stability, allows for use of a standard mouse which is my preference.

Finally found a lapdesk that works for me! Good price for a laptop desk that can be used in bed.

During long periods of studying this lap desk supports my laptop and cushion my wrist at a high comfort level.

This product is solid to hold up for daily use yet comfortable enough where it makes contact with the body.

I was using a lap desk that was old and needed a new one. I discovered that they now had lap desks that had room for a mouse. My other lap desk didn't have room so I was constantly having to find room next to me to put the mouse. And that wasn't always easy. This is big enough for my 17" screen laptop AND the mouse. And room to move the mouse around. My other lap desk didn't have a wrist rest either so I'm pretty sure this is better for my wrists!

The LapGear - Deluxe Computer LapDesk is great for a large 17" laptop as there is room also for a mouse pad on the side. Wrist support on the front is also good. My only complaint is the cushioning on the bottom does not go all the way to the back of the desk and sometimes allows the plastic portion to hit my knees and can be very uncomfortable. If you keep it level on your lap, you do not have the problem.
