I would recommend LapGear - Deluxe Computer Lapdesk. The large surface accommodates up to 17.3" laptop and fits comfortably in your lap if you are in the bed or a chair. This is a very nice item, but don't care too much for the hand rest.

I purchased this for my husband to use while he was recovering from hip surgery. He loves it's portability and hasn't stopped using it even though he has fully recuperated. I like his so well that I am thinking about purchasing one for myself as well. We would definitely recommend this product.

Ended up being too big. But was well built. Seemed stable.

We got this for my mom and she loves it! She is using it for her new smart tv using a keyboard and mouse. This makes it very easy for her as if it we a portable desk top. She uses it every day and it makes her internet experience so much better.

This thing is slightly bigger than I hope but still cool.

I use my laptop desk for working at home on my laptop. I love the hidden pockets to store my cordless mouse when I am not using it. The wrist cushion is a big plus. The downside, I wish it was alittle wider to hold my cordless keyboard and mouse. it's very ackward to work.

My husband wanted to lapdesk to help him stay cool while using the laptop at home. The LapGear - Deluxe Computer LapDesk fit the bill exactly. It was inexpensive and worked out perfectly for our needs. Now we no longer get the slight "burning" feeling from a hot laptop.

I use my computer in bed a lot and thought this would be a great thing so im not burning my legs. I do like it for that reason but the computer slides around on it and if you use an external mouse and it tips even a little, your mouse goes flying onto the floor.

I brought this laptop desk for my daughter to use with her laptop and she loves it. It holds her 17" wide screen laptop with no problems and she has room to type and move her wireless mouse. The pockets underneath comes in handy and holds the mouse and other small knick knacks.

well from the time i walked into the store the clerks were so helpful and then choosing the right laptop device was great the laptop shelf i got for the lap this was a better quility than most so i am very very pleased with the choice the clerk helped me find

so far i haven't found a better laptop lapdesk. i use it for my remote keyboard and mouse to control my computer from across the room. i watch t.v. and movies online so having a remote option sure beats getting up to walk to the computer at the end of a movie.

I had trouble finding a lap desk large enough for the 17" laptop purchased for my brother. This one is perfect, large enough to hold the laptop and a mouse. The weight is OK, and prevents the heat from the laptop being transferred to one's lap.
