It holds my mouse in place on the mouse pad area. My computer fits nicely on the lap desk. Highly recommend this item.

I went back and purchased it, and I've been very happy with it. It's large enough to handle both the laptop and the mouse, and it's very comfortable.

Liked it so much that I bought one for my 10 year-old to use during distant learning. Very spacious and comfortable. Love the nook that ho,do his school-provided hotspot.

Light. Handle makes it easy to take to a meeting, although i wouldn't take it on a flight. Mousepad is good. It's got a faux-carbon fiber top that is pretty nice and non-descript. If it a wood top, i might give it five stars.
