Bought this for the times I work at home and dont want to sit at a desk. Girlfriend loves it because I dont use couch or bed space with my wireless mouse. Very comfortable. Also takes the heat off of my lap area, although that was never a major issue with my current laptop. Also nice to have my phone handy and quick access to the display for when I get calls. Excellent construction although I am sure the cost of construction is well below the $50 price point that it sells for. Hard to find a complaint with this product. I could only mention that I have a 15.6" laptop and there is no extra room so I am not sure where they get the 17" laptop from unless it was a 4:3 ratio screen (i.e. old). Mouse pad is a tad narrow but my mouse sensitivity is pretty high so I can move anywhere on the screen without leaving the surface. May be an issue for others.

I like the lap desk. It was very convenient when I was in bed.

It does the job. However, I don't find it comfortable.

Comfortible, nice looking łap desk for 17" laptop.

I loved the feel and usefulness of this lap desk, but I returned it. It was too wide and kept slipping off my knees. I bought another one from the same company that doesn't have the wrist pads. It works much better.

For the first few days we thought this was a great lap desk. It was a good size for the 15.6" laptop, light weight, and with a useful size mouse pad. However, in less than a week it cracked and broke next to the cell phone slot, rendering it unusable. It is hard to tell if this was due to some rough handling between the factory and the store, or if it is an inherent weakness in the design. Thanks is very much due to Best Buy for their return policy. We returned it and are looking for a different model.

Returned because it was actually too hot on my lap and it was too big and uncomfortable feeling on my lap. Was a good idea, just didn't work out for me.

My last notebook/laptop desk fell apart after several years of having it. It was time for a new one. It is large enough to fit my 17.5 in laptop. I like the fact that it has a mouse pad on it so I don't have to use my couch cushion or and arm of a chair. The wrist cushion is also a nice touch. Since I have a fairly thin laptop, it makes my hands rest flush on the keyboard when writing. Only thing which is more of me nitpicking, the cellphone/small tablet holder. If you place your phone vertically in it, it will have the tendency to sway or fall if you move. I have already had my phone fall twice wile using it. Should have a thin strip of rubber inside to help keep it stable.

This is not what I expected, the mouse pad us horrible, the wrist pad too high. It continually slides off my lap unless I sit just right. I hate it

Bought this for a Surface Pro to use while watching TV. The Lap Desk is huge, and uncomfortable. If you want to see the screen, then you have to use your laptop in tablet mode. The built in mouse pad surface is too smooth to hold the mouse in place, and the my mouse optical sensors had a hard time with the pad. The cushions on the back of the desk are too hard to come even close to anything comfortable and are not well thought out.

I no longer use this as it does not fit my lap. It should be made adjustable. I am sorry I spent the money for it. Caveat Emptor

Poor design. The padding for your legs is made of styrofoam beads. They smash/dissolve extremely quickly (noticeable within a week or two). The pockets they are in are 100% sewn shut and can not be refilled with new styro beads. The RH side of the unit (mouse side) also cracks and bends. Wish I could get my cash back and purchase something else. This thing is not worth the money.

I'm a 5 foot 6 female and this does not fit well on my lap and with my laptop on it, the thing actually hurts my legs.

I have used this every day for just shy of a year now. I got it in the carbon fiber finish. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I started working from home; shortly thereafter, I suffered a spine injury that left me unable to sit in a chair for months. I had to work on my laptop while laying on my couch with my knees propped up, or leaning back in a LaFuma Futura XL zero-gravity reclining chair. This lap desk fits exactly perfectly on my lap between the arm rests of the chair. I do have the back end of my laptop propped up at approx an 18º angle to help with ergonomics the way I have been using it (to better type and to see the screen.) When it first arrived, my first thought was that it was way overpriced and not worth the high cost, but it has been well worth it for me. This thing has been used on my lap every single day for nearly a year. The corners that are wrapped in the printed finish do gouge easily if you hit them on things like hard chair arms but overall it has held up quite well. It does make my lap warm if the laptop sits directly on the surface instead of on the small support that I use to prop it up on. The cushions on the bottom are apparently only filled with styrofoam beads and they do compress a ton over time; mine are almost flat now which is problematic, so I am going to see if I can refill them somehow, (maybe rip open a seam, pour new beads in, and sew it up.) I am thinking about buying a second one now that I have to go back into the office, to go with my second zero gravity chair, but the price is holding me back.

The item works however very cheaply made and in no way is it worth the price. Way over priced by almost three times what it should be. My daughter got one made better for $35.00 dollars less.

The mouse pad area is flimsy and breaks easily. It starts to bend since the inside board is only made of cardboard. I t looks better than it works.

The stuffing used in the pillow pads on the bottom is poor quality and in less than a week is so worn down that it's not a pillow anymore.

My boyfriend and I were shopping around, I work from home and sometimes I want to sit on the couch and have my laptop. Well, he saw this and mentioned I should buy it and try it. I have never been so happy with a purchase before! It is comfortable and easy to use I can have my mouse on it since it has a mouse pad and even have a little holder for my phone. I love it.
