Switched 90% of all files and settings with few clicks

Excellent product I have used for many years. Efficiently moves files, applications, and data from computer to computer. I will continue to use in the future!

It was very simple to use. I moved everything from my desktop windows 7 to my laptop windows 10. Did the job. It arrived sooner than promised.

Did not transfer files properly as in previous versions. Files were moved to the cloud instead of the new PC, had to be manually fixed. Outlook pst files were missing. Some documents did not transfer with the most recent version. Spent over two hours fixing all the problems.

This was a wonderful accessory for my new computer. Easy to use and it would have taken me forever to get everything moved to my new computer without it. I had to update a couple of programs in order for the files to transfer but then everything I needed moved to the new computer.

The product is very good. Unfortunately the version still sold at Best Buy is not the current version. Nonetheless, Laplink offered the support I needed to accomplish the file transfers.

Easy to install. Easy directions. Compatible with all programs.

I was setting up a new computer for my mother and needed to transfer data and programs from the old to the new. This program made that transfer easy. I think anyone could use it even a novice.

It gets a little complicated when you have 2 drives, overall the programs and data moves ok on single drives

even after some reviews this was the best NO problems at all, as long as you follow the directions no issues yes i went from win 10 to win 10 but everything migrated with ease SLOW yes but faster and easier than having to have ALL passwords to do one by one i am VERY happy.

Great for moving files and programs from one pc to another

Bought this but ended up returning when I was able to move all files and data using ICloud.

Used to switch over from 1 (HP) PC to a newer (HP) PC, it suggested Wi-Fi but it ended up taking a long time, re-started it and was done in minutes with the cord. Check files (taxes), some needed to be found but very happy with the results. It suggests some programs won't transfer, 98% do (my opinion)

Worked exactly as advertised. I wish I would have purchased a multi-devise license instead of a single one. It moved my files and cleaned my old PC quickly and painlessly.

If you have a lot of applications but you can't find the original discs to install them, then PC Mover is the way to go. I was able to move several applications and all of my documents with ease to my new laptop using PC Mover.

In this day-and-age of intuitive program interfaces, neither did very well on that front. The feature set was better than normal, but I had an abysmal time getting either on to operate, hampered by non-existent operational feedback. for the Mover, I resorted to manual moving of files that were missed and crossed my fingers (that the errors on the 35-wipe were bad sectors and not something else) and reformatted before OS reload.

Software is good, easy to use but transfer data is slowly and need usb cable.

I have used this product in the past for setting up my new computer with items from my old one. Works very well. It reduces the setup time considerably.

It transferred both files and programs very impressed

After using PCMover it said it finished and needed to download Microsoft modules. Then Windows tried to repair the system and could not. I took it to the Geek Squad who had to reset the PC. I would not recommend the product to anyone.
