The XP side loaded up but the program could not connect the WIN10 computer. For $99.99 dollars more the company was willing to troubleshoot/fix? the problem. I have a distant cousin who had no problems with his. Going from 32bit to 64bit machine may have been an issue but the spec's stated compatiablity.

Good but not current version

Unfortunately the version still sold at Best Buy is not the current version. Nonetheless, Laplink offered the support I needed to accomplish the file transfers.

Fantastic product

Easy to use and it would have taken me forever to get everything moved to my new computer without it. I had to update a couple of programs in order for the files to transfer but then everything I needed moved to the new computer.

Works great for seeting up new Computer

Great application

I was able to move several applications and all of my documents with ease to my new laptop using PC Mover.

Neither Mover or Erase had good Human Interfaces
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In this day-and-age of intuitive program interfaces, neither did very well on that front. The feature set was better than normal, but I had an abysmal time getting either on to operate, hampered by non-existent operational feedback. for the Mover, I resorted to manual moving of files that were missed and crossed my fingers (that the errors on the 35-wipe were bad sectors and not something else) and reformatted before OS reload.

Good software for the computer literate

I had to get their online help but that help was very good and I was able to transfer all the information from my old computer to the new. Someone more computer literate would probably not have any problems, otherwise use the online help
