It can move all data related files but with some application files it does an okay job. It moved my office 2013 application files but on my new PC the office apps would not launch. Not sure if all the files copied over correctly. Still better than trying to move the files via other methods.

This product was easy to use and did exactly what it claimed it would do. Everything transferred and worked just fine. I was surprised that it worked as well as it did, Definitely worth the price.

Definitely does its job. Did not need to do much other than plug and let computer sit for a day to transfer my files and most of my program files to a newer laptop. Definitely recommended.

Great piece of software for moving your complete operating system, files , programs and drivers to another computer.

Purchased new laptop computers and used the PC Mover programs to load all data and programs from the old computers to the new ones. Everything went smoothly.

works like advertised. transferred most files. other files were easy to reinstall. used this product a couple of times. can't go wrong for a transfer.

Have used this twice in the last couple of months. Both times worked well. Did have a registry issue with Norton (did not transfer the Norton app, but brought over the registry settings). Worked with LapLink support to delete those and then could reinstall Norton.

I have used this product in the past when purchasing new computers. This latest version is even easier to use. I definitely recommend this item be purchased whenever you are replacing your primary computer.

I had great hope for PC Mover to move files and wipe the free space on my laptop before passing it along. I'd removed all software except for W10 before installing PC Mover. Following the directions, disabling firewalls and AV protection, the old and new computers would not sync. After calling customer support, the tech took control of both computers, tweaked some settings and it started transferring. Unfortunately, the process stalled and hung for several hours - restart and begin again, but had to call customer service again. I ultimately decided to manually move since it was nearly a manual process anyway. Regardless, my version came with Safe Erase - same problem, had to consult customer service to get it to download AND to execute. My problem is that software should be without the need to consult customer service every time you get stuck. The customer service was able to fix the issues, but I should be able to execute without that consultation. There are cheaper and better alternatives, as i found.

This program is great! It transferred everything from my old computer without glitches. It did take a few hours but I had a lot to transfer. Love it!

The new laptop and old one don't have an Ethernet connection so this product is useless.

Several issues during the move from old computer to new one. Duplicate files, got stuck a few times and had to start over. Pretty frustrating, but it finally got the job done.

All I had to do was download the software on to my old PC and new laptop, and follow the instructions. The transfer took a few hours, but required no intervention on my part.
