Bought this product, and was very dissatisfied with the technical support (basically useless). Overall, it did not transfer as advertised, but did transfer some items.

When I purchased this product, it states on the box that there is 24-hour support line to assist in setting it up. When I called the person I talked to ran some tests remotely and said I needed to clear over a Gig of files on my original computer before migrating the files to the new computer. The files were duplicates, cache, temporary files, etc. I said that would be fine. He then said I needed to pay in excess of $200 for him to clear the files and that it would include a year of service to assist me on maintaining my computer system. I was not happy. It seems like a scam. He would not help me setup the software unless I agreed to purchase the service. I hung up and performed the clearing of files and migrating them to the new computer without using the software. It was essentially useless to me.

Pic mover allowed me to move all of the programs that I needed from my old computer to my new one with no problems.

Bought PC Mover to transfer selected files to my new pc, versus copying everything. Worked great!

Attempted to use to help migrate my wife's files from a regular HD on an old laptop to a new laptop with a SSD with lower capacity plus a second drive. Indicated which data folders to put on each drive, etc. and ran the transfer. Failed to copy anything to the second drive, and mistakenly marked many program files and settings as being on the D: drive rather than the C: drive in the registry. Redid everything manually from backups instead. May work for straight-forward transfers, but note that you are purchasing a license for a SINGLE transfer using this product - so if you need to move multiple machines, you may want to look for other solutions.

Product actually work as described. Followed directions and had a small glitch which it seemed to work itself out.

Have used before and will use again, when my current laptop decides to die. It is a long process but it does work, better than anything else I have looked at.

This was the second time I wasted money for this program. Still not a suitable replacement for the application that was formerly included for free in previous versions of Windows. The biggest disappointment, once again, they've include (for free) a cable for which most modern computers can't connect, rather than a USB connector. The picture, and text on the box are so obscure, it gives no clues about what type of cable or connector it is. Luckily, thanks to Best Buy I bought the program for half price, once again. Anyway, without the correct cable, you are relegated to choosing another way to transfer files. I chose wireless through my wifi, I've got the latest fastest router, The computers found each other, and connected no problem, and proceeded to transfer everything. After going grocery shopping, coming home, then heading out in the woods to cut up trees that had fallen down in the last wind storm, then taking a shower, the transfer said it was complete. Only 13 hours, yay! So over the next couple days, I manually transferred, or re-installed the programs that failed to work on the new computer. Just like last time. I may try it again in a couple years. My hope, eventually they will learn, and fix it, or I will, and stop looking for easy answers.

This worked great and I had no issues' would buy again and recommend this software as it is easy and fast.

Pcmover completely moved my data to my new computer. It took overnight but worked great over WiFi

Had trouble using the included Ethernet transfer cable. Although attached between machines, the info transferred via WI-FI. Do not understand why. Other then that, the operation went fairly smooth.

Yes it moved my files and pictures. But the programs...nope. could have saved my money and time wasted.

Everything moved, except I needed help from Microsoft to get Office working. All's well.

This helps to move files over to a newer computer with Windows 10. It works great.

did not move favorites from machine being replaced it did use favorites from different machine on same network had difficult time getting correct favorites using usb thumb drive buy after web search I did get them

Port expander used for Lenovo Yoga - This helped as this Lenovo only had 2-USB 3.0 ports. This adds Video, HDMI, Ethernet and 2-USB 3.0 Ports

Took some time but all data transferred. I had no problems, for me it is worth it.
