Buy this for my new purchase of a tower. Transferred everything over fast.

Transferred 95% of what was on my old laptop, including programs. You will need a good, reliable internet connection, but so worth the money!

Moved everything--files, photos, programs, etc.-from an old desktop to a new one. Some of the directions should be stated more clearly. However, it works! Took much longer to get the transfer done than I thought it would take, but it was definitely better than doing it all manually.

I purchased 2 copies of PC Mover ultimate. The app to transfer all data from old pc did work but took over a day to complete. This was on a 300+ mps connection. The app to erase the old computer data had poor instructions and moved so slowly that after 3 days, I quit trying. Mike Olson

it moved some of my music, but not all...and some that it moved, it put in strange places...still looking for some!

What a disappointment! Tried to transfer old Asus to new Book 360. Error came up about old system being more up to date than newer. Both machines were up to date! Also an ethernet connection couldn't be made with adapters as neither machine had a full size port and WiFi would potentially take just so long. Great concept, but not worth it.

It took a few minutes to get it set-up, then it worked as described.

The version of PC mover I have has a program called safe erase which I have used and like a lot. I have not got to the PC mover program but I will in time.

Product worked exactly as advertised. The directions were clear and easy to follow.

You have to really understand what you're going to transfer because different settings from your old PC can affect your newer PC. Once you're done make sure you check what has been transferred.

Works well and quickly to move files from an old PC to a new one.

Locked up with two hours left in transfer, possibly when power died on old laptop. Locked up computer completely, had to turn off using power button. From then on, Laplink software would crash halfway into installation, even after uninstall and reinstall. So I tried Lenovo's free downloadable migration tool and had no problems, even though the new laptop wasn't a Lenovo.

Great software, easy to install and easy to use...

I couldn't pick the most important software the reason I bought this for. It doesn't transfer/move MS Office 2010. I seen website that had a picture of icons of software you could pick to move over to the new PC but the Professional Version doesn't have that feature. It did Move everything else and my settings which I didn't need. Old PC crashes too often.

This product was easy to use and got the job done with ease.

I am pretty comfortable with computers but this was a pain to set up and get transferring. It took multiple calls to tech support and they sent me to their WEB site to download additional files. Just not smooth like it should be. I still have pop ups trying to get me to buy additional software programs that this company sells. What a pain.

The only thing that makes it a little hard to use, is you have to contact Laplink with your key before it will work. If you are hooking both computers with the ethernet cable with two desktops, then you are not on the internet to contact them. I had to put one of the computers with a usb wireless install to do this.
