I couldn't pick the most important software the reason I bought this for. It doesn't transfer/move MS Office 2010. I seen website that had a picture of icons of software you could pick to move over to the new PC but the Professional Version doesn't have that feature. It did Move everything else and my settings which I didn't need. Old PC crashes too often.

Product moved all of my applications and data with minimal problems. It worked as advertised.

The only thing that makes it a little hard to use, is you have to contact Laplink with your key before it will work. If you are hooking both computers with the ethernet cable with two desktops, then you are not on the internet to contact them. I had to put one of the computers with a usb wireless install to do this.

This was the best software I ever ysed! It was easy and fast.

I got this software because I was getting a new pc and finally got it this past Friday. I followed the instructions and even checked some of their videos which made it seem easy. Well after several attempts to make it work I still haven't gotten it to work. Even my adult son who knows more about pc's, couldn't get it to work. I finally went and got an external hard drive. I guess I will be moving my files with it.

It was a little confusing at first and it took a long time to copy. However, it did copy it flawlessly.

Really easy and efficient way to move your stuff over from o;d laptop

Locked up with two hours left in transfer, possibly when power died on old laptop. Locked up computer completely, had to turn off using power button. From then on, Laplink software would crash halfway into installation, even after uninstall and reinstall. So I tried Lenovo's free downloadable migration tool and had no problems, even though the new laptop wasn't a Lenovo.

I had used PC mover before with 90% success so when we needed to move software & documents to a newer PC, I bought the latest version and did it myself. It was reasonable but did take a long time. I ran into an issue but called the tech line and they helped me through it. Good deal so you don't have to buy new software for if just upgrading your PC.

Used to move files and programs to a new PC. Work flawlessly.

Moved all my files and applications. Did not need to reload any.

While it moved most items I still needed to call the help desk to get it to work properly.

I bought this and basically wasted my money it seems like it was easier just to do it another wave so I have no great recommendation for do not know

I bought this to transfer the data on the office computer to the new computer. After a couple of false starts, I called customer service. And pronto, they gave me the information I needed. I was able to complete the data transfer without issue. The office staff is happy!!!!

Don't call in to the help center as they will run additional test only to try to convince you that you need additional software before the transfer will occur safety.

I purchased 2 copies of PC Mover ultimate. The app to transfer all data from old pc did work but took over a day to complete. This was on a 300+ mps connection. The app to erase the old computer data had poor instructions and moved so slowly that after 3 days, I quit trying. Mike Olson
