I'd read good things about this product, but for me none of them were true. I followed the directions, but none of my files were transported from the old computer to the new one. When I bought the item I was told there was no refund, once the box was opened. So, I paid again for some education.

The product did not come with compatible cables, so returned product.

This is not a plug and play program as they state.

too complicated....overloaded my new computer.....must be an easier way.

P C mover is a piece of crap. I followed the directions and could not get it to work. I even called their help line, and did a screen share with them, and we could not get the laptops to communicate. I gave Best Buy $40 for this crap.

Sold me an outdated version of this. After 2 days of trying to move info from old computer to new, pcmover customer service finally found what the problem was and had me download updated version. I was going to return product when virus began,

It was relatively simple and served my needs. If you are comfortable with computers it should work for you. Read the directions and follow!

Purchased this with my new PC. Old PC had issues with network ports so couldn't use the included cable but they would be happy to sell me their proprietary USB cable for more than the cost of the software itself :-P

Nope, it did not work. It said that some people do it overnight but 3 days later it was still trying to work. We just took it to the Geek Squad and they had it done in less than an hour.

You can do it better and faster the old fashioned way

I spent more time and money fixing the thing this software messed up on my new computer then I care to think about. Save yourself the trouble and do a clean install of you software and files and forget about buying this!

The software, to copy my 250 gig hard drive was going to take 59 hours. That would mean almost three days of not being able to use my system that I needed for work everyday.

Program did not do what was advertised. Problems identifying old and new computers. constant stalling.

Tried to transfer with cable didn't work that well.

This is a piece of junk, will not recommend it to anyone. Customer service at this company needs improvement.

This product is extremely difficult to set up, it stalled several times, mis-mapped major files, corrupted driver files. Not worth the time and trouble needed to undo the damage caused.

Loaded the software on both computers, began transfer of data from old PC to new PC. After about 1 hour of running it registered an error. Contacted support, was told sorry. We can't fix that error. Unbeleiveable.

Frustrating product that did not measure up to expectations. I should have called the help line but just got too angry after repeated directions that showed up but didn't work. Used flash drive to transfer.

Did not transfer all programs to new computer. Called support who were unable to help me with issue.
