Though it has only 3 speed settings, l am using lowest one which itself blows cold air. There is no much noice. You will not hear because of its cool breeze make you deep sleep. Only reason I reduced the star rating due to its hardware. I am unable to tight the stick. It's very loose. If I try to adjust the height, then it's popping out. If you are using it for specific height and not going to adjust often, then it's best bet for you. If you need to adjust the height regularly, then it will be little harder.

Fast and easy to assemble. If you are wanting a quiet fan then do not buy this fan cause it puts out the air. Highly recommend this fan.

I was hoping for a quiet, slow speed, then medium, then high. Low sounds more like medium and creates more noise than what I want. I couldn't test it before buying, but if you like quiet, keep looking.
