I can not sleep with AC on all night so we opted to get him a fan so he can stay cool and I'll be comfortable. It's very power on its highest setting. Not too quiet if that's what your looking for but overall a great fan for the price.

I put it at the end of my bed and it helps me sleep comfortably. It is pretty quiet. The only thing I don't like is that the base falls off every time I move it. I did hot glue the pole to the base and it fixed the problem.
