cute movie and was a good price. good movie for the family

ORDERED 3, ALL 3 CAME IN DAMAGED DUE TO POOR PACKAGING BY YOUR WAREHOUSE SHIPPING DEPARTMENT. ONE OF THEM IS LITERALLY BENT IN HALF. STEELBOOKS SHOULD BE SHIPPED IN BOXES ONLY, NOT BAGS!!!!

I ordered the classic VHS case blu-ray but instead recieved the regular blu-ray case!

One of my most favorite movies. It's such a jab at Hollywood and it comes off so great. You have a kid (who I can't stand) who gets transported into a movie with his favorite fictional character. However, in the movie, everything is real and they don't know it. So the kid tries his best to show them that it's just a movie. You have a cartoon cat who everyone thinks is just normal, movies Arnold was in is now by Stallone, the cop from T2 walking into the police precinct, just so many small things that make the movie so enjoyable. The villain, played by Dance, is one of my favorite villains. His remarks at people leave me cracking up, and the best thing is when he's in the real world and he shoots someone. HIL-AR-I-OUS. This movie is enjoyable on many levels, both action and humor, and should definately be seen by everyone.

I grew up watching this movie! It's fantastic! I feel sorry for anyone who watches this and doesn't get that it's a parody. The one liners are great, and the over the top action is even better. The problem is this terrible DVD. There are no special features, and it's in unwatchable pan-and-scan, full screen! If you've never seen a movie in this format, consider yourself lucky. It looks horribly altered when they digitally move the camera around to show the parts of the picture that the full screen format cuts off. It's very distracting. Do yourself a favor and look for this movie in widescreen. It's totally worth it!

Too many people miss out on the escapism of movies, the humor and lack of seriousness that can lighten a day. This movie is as campy as it gets -Arnold outdid himself spoofing himself... and that is what so many people miss. This movie is Arnold poking fun at Arnold, and letting us in on the joke. No, there isn't a huge message here, but who needs it???!!! This movie is an action adventure, and if you simply don't take it seriously (and see the campiness as the joke it is meant to be), you'll have a blast.

Funny entertaining movie action and comedy watch it with the family

This movie is pure fun and pretty much an inside joke. Arnold still in top form. It certainly bombed in the box office bc a lot of people misunderstood this film when released and still do. It is a parody, plain and simple. Arnold had a lot of guts to do this movie in which it pretty much makes fun of himself and the action genre in general. Great budget title. Pretty good PQ & AQ. Only flaw is a lack of extras.

i loved this movie as a kid and i still do to this day. just so cool and vastly underrated to me. on blu ray it looks and sounds stunning. i say must buy if you like 90's action flicks and if you love this movie as much as i do!

The last Action Hero is a Classic Arnold Movie. This Funny and action packed movie will keep you laughing and Glued to your Movie Screen for the entire length of the Film.

At the time I first ordered this, they advertised it as the copy with the Retro VHS slipcover, which was the main reason I bought it, but when it was delivered, there was no slipcover at all. Don’t buy this expecting the cool cover.

If you're a fan of Arnold and love cheezy movies, this one is for you!

Not his best movie but it did keep me interested througout.

This is just a bad movie; there just isn't a gentler way to say this. It doesn't have even close to the quality of humor as Kindergarten Cop (a must-own movie in my opinion# nor the action quality of True Lies #also a must-own movie#. Stick with these along with the Terminator trilogy #T2 of course the best of the three) and you've got the best of Arnold.

'Last Action Hero' really marked the beginning of the end for Arnold Schwarzenegger's film career in my opinion, and for whatever it's worth, this dvd reflects that. Full-screen only with no bonus features.

This is by far the worst Schwarzenegger movie ever. Anyone considering purchasing this movie should definitely reconsider.
