Awesome steelbook cover for a well-deserved classic!!

A cinematic masterpiece now in 4K. Stunning picture.

I went to three Best Buy’s today to attempt to buy a mint condition copy of Lawrence on steelbook 4K, my most anticipated release of the year. I searched through 20 copies. 12 of them were spine slashed by a gorilla opening the box at different stores. Of the ones I purchased and exchanged, all were dented, some scratched, and some weird vertical lines from printing error. Overall, a terrible release from Sony, with poor handling of product by Best Buy. I also ordered 6 copies from another retailer, same experience. Sony dropping the ball with this release.

Steelbooks are very fragile. You should take more care in packaging them. With supply chain issues you have not been getting as many units in for each steelbook. This forces me to have to pre-order them online, which means that I have a 70% chance to receive a damaged steelbook. Then I can't exchange it because you don't have anymore left to exchange it for. So it forces me, when I can, to order from other retailers.

I’ve never seen this film. It’s an iconic classic that made Steven Spielberg want to direct films.

Lawrence of Arabia is my favorite film of all time. An epic masterpiece. My rating has nothing to do with the film or the disc quality. The 4K presentation is 5 stars and what I appreciate about 4K, taking my favorite movies from yesteryear and making them look new. Better than new. This rating is all about how poorly the quality control and Best Buy’s shipping of Steelbooks is. I went through 4 Steelbooks and all had damage, either from shipping or poor quality control from factory. Dents, scratches, chips, you name it, these Steelbooks had it.

Awesome! Looks better than ever! A must see film for anyone interesting in history or film in general. We should hope that films are made on this scale again one day.
