Good movie. Language you have to watch, but a good message for parents and teenagers how life is hard at times. School is important for all kids even in bad schools with problems. If the right people will stand up and be tough against the ones who bully and sell drugs, then the students will follow suit. It takes all to help with how are future is gonna be. Kids are our future and this movie shows some of that today.

At the time this movie came out, most of the great dramas with a predominantly black cast centered on gang violence and were pessimistic in tone. Lean on Me changed the tone towards a place where we could believe we can achieve through similar obstacles.

Great movie about a principal trying to turn things around at one of the worst schools in New Jersey

I love this movie. it tells the story of a Great Teacher who never gave up on his students, no matter what.

Morgan Freeman is one of the most amazing actors I've ever watched. In this movie he is very stern yet he teaches true values. He goes to jail for what he believes in and changes MANY things for the better.

Pure greatness, Morgan Freeman plays Joe Clark so well that its no wonder why most teachers use this movie as 'How to' guilde to get kids to do right.
